Probably not, majority of CE is 30 and over. Early to mid 2000 was not saturated with cells phone, and most of them were dumb phones.

Pagers were what the cool kids had when I was in high school, or maybe middle school, I forget, but my sister had one and she's 3 years older than me.

Depending on what you define as grade school.

Like 5th grade was 2003/2004, so it was plausible for a kid to have a cell phone but I don't particularly remember it. Saw more iPods than anything else.

For middle school, don't remember any cell phones but I was nose deep in books at school so I never paid anymind to anyone else.

By 2008/9th grade(or might have been 10th grade/late 2008), definitely know at least one kid had a smartphone/iPhone 3GS.

I had a Nokia in high school I think, though this was before cell phones were common and if anyone else had one they didn't have them out because they'd get confiscated.

No. Cell Phones weren't that common until after I was in high school. I didn't get my first phone until 10th grade. It was a "chirp" phone with boost mobile.

I remember when I first saw the internet. I was at a friend's house after school and he told me to watch the computer screen as a collage of porn pics slowly loaded. He started to panic because it was taking too long and his mom was due home. I don't think it ever finished before he turned it off as she walked in the door.

My aunt had one in the '90s that looked like a regular cordless landline phone except it had an extra button to dial.

My first was a basic Motorola flip phone with no camera. Texting on it sucked since each number button had 3-4 letters on it, so you had to press the same button multiple times just to get the letter you want.

When I was a kid we still had gameboys and Dragon Ball Z was only at Frieza saga. The internet was just budding and then a little later, Runescape was a big deal. By the time cellphones became widely used I was already out of school. Hell, I still remember being in my early 20s and having a shit phone that would drain data just by connecting to the internet.

Now phones are advanced and you can watch television on them or surf the net without having to enter a specific program just to get in.
