yeah there are tons of awesome one-liners in the show's history. I didn't remember that one specifically but it was clear that Bran was able to know what LF says in private. I was glad that my Facebook feed gave me the headsup about the specifics. And I'm more aware of what's going on in the show than probably 80%+ of people that watch it. I like the Sansa/Arya stuff. Arya watched her honorable dad be deceived and decapitated by the pretty dressed lords and ladies. And she isn't going to let Sansa/LF do that to Jon. Unfortunately she doesn't express that outright and seems to want to convince Sansa that Sansa is evil, or so.

The whole mission north of the wall is obviously just tough to take and sloppy and full of conveniences. Every level of it. Some enjoyable dialog among the fellas though. And the action was pretty cool. I hope it was worth it ugh

She isn't the Mad Queen but she did take a step in that direction when it was suggested that she do something else. I think she's a long way away from setting all her enemies on fire just for the thrill of it, but you can understand why everyone in Westeros is weary of dragons and burning enemies.

tbh, many people don't really enjoy enumerating their likes and dislikes. they watch game of thrones like they'd watch a procedural, i imagine, and that's... just how it is, sometimes.

I mentioned that I found it odd that Tyrion would wander down the stairs when there were 3 people next to Davos at the boat, 2 very obviously were guards. The response I got was "It's like a classic comedy bit where someone bumps into a vase or something and goes through all sorts of hysterical physical comedy to keep it from hitting the floor, and then gets it back on the pedastal only for someone to enter the room swinging a door into the vase, smashing it instantly".

I'm totally ignorant to this concept of points. If paying now means it's off my record and won't affect my insurance, I'd do that. The money's the last thing I'm really concerned about.

If you get too many points, you can lose your license. They eventually slide off of your license. In general you'd have to have a really bad year with traffic violations to run into that, so don't stress about it.

I don't mind the white walkers taking forever. I did mind the Bronn/Jaime river stuff.

It feels like the characters will be having an important conversation and we either cut away from it during a tense moment, or some convenient interruption occurs to break the tension/plot.

At least Gilly probably read the part of the book that Sam got all whiny about.

I liked the episode but the conveniences are adding up. Only 8 episodes left so I suppose it'll all wash out pretty soon.

The only real argument that the dothraki would win is if you would argue their tactics would be different if they did not have dragons in their strategy.

That feels like it would be the whole point. It's a dragon attack backed by vicious light cavalry. I don't think Dany or Tyrion or anyone involved would have suggested the Dothraki come to Westeros only to open-field charge into the Lannisters like that.

I'm surprised at how many people can afford to travel...

In the northeast it's very easy to get double digits without trying. There are a lot of inexpensive daytrips. It's possible you've covered more ground in CA than someone in New England has.

Flying/hotels aren't cheap though, for sure. But over time, the states pile up. And I'm sure some folks have had work trips.

My second favorite band of all time is Type O Negative. The lead singer became born again Christian before their final album, and one of the songs is an anti-abortion track that I think sounds really good but I can't stand to listen to it. I gave it a shot under the idea that, we all have different view points and that's OK. But I just don't relate to the song so I don't like it.

Movies are a bit different because I don't feel like I need to relate to them in order to enjoy them, and usually I can deal with actors/actresses/directors that I don't like/agree with.

I loved the Casterly Rock scene. The Tyrion voice over kinda gives him this long-invested glory while not spending too much time on a battle that only has one character, just the perfect way to handle the proper takedown of the Lannisters, except... not really! Well played.

For me, it's about combat efficiency and not making taxpayers fund sex changes. That's it. It's not some anti-trans crusade.
