Hayden Hunstable showed no signs of depression when the world went into lockdown back in April as his sister, Kinlee found him dead in his room His death came shortly after he, his dad and his grandfather worked to fix the waterin their home. Brad, the siblings father, attempted to perform CPR but he could not be saved as he blames the global pandemic and the LOCKDOWN for taking his son's life .. Brad said "Covid killed my son. I think Hayden would still be alive today if COVID never happened" He described Hayden has being social who loved football and said "I had no idea he was struggling or depressed, he was such a happy kid and loved his friends and family. But Covid is a perfect storm for suicide and depression. I think everything just got on top of him, he felt overwhelmed and he made a tragic decision. My daughter ran downstairs and said Hayden hung himself. I ran up there, pulled him down and tried to save him. I performed CPR but i couldn't save him. He was gone. 6th Graders at Patrick Marsh Middle School in Sun Prairie were asked a question during Black History month while learning about the laws of ancient Mesopotamia The 11-12 year old students were asked to to pretend to be slave owners while being asked this shocking question.. Principal Rebecca Zahn apologized for this assignment and said "our intent missed the mark, and for that we are deeply sorry. Going forward we will be sure to think critically about whether or our intenet matches our impaact" They have now placed the several teachers involved on leave while they investigate But the Wisconsin State Journal raised questions about the origin of the lesson which did not come from the district's official curriculum It appears this lesson came from a website used by teachers to buy and sell educational materials called "Teachers Pay Teachers" which had a $4 lesson plan available with the exact wording given tot the students The site has since removed this lesson.. 6th Graders at Patrick Marsh Middle School in Sun Prairie were asked a question during Black History month while learning about the laws of ancient Mesopotamia The 11-12 year old students were asked to to pretend to be slave owners while being asked this shocking question.. Principal Rebecca Zahn apologized for this assignment and said "our intent missed the mark, and for that we are deeply sorry. Going forward we will be sure to think critically about whether or our intenet matches our impaact" They have now placed the several teachers involved on leave while they investigate But the Wisconsin State Journal raised questions about the origin of the lesson which did not come from the district's official curriculum It appears this lesson came from a website used by teachers to buy and sell educational materials called "Teachers Pay Teachers" which had a $4 lesson plan available with the exact wording given tot the students The site has since removed this lesson.
