Yeah. February 2011. Went out with my girlfriend and some friends to an arcade/indoor amusement type place. Like Chuck E. Cheese but for all ages. We ate pizza and all of us had violent vomiting and diarrhea for about 3 days after. At one point I was puking in the toilet and shit myself, ruining my favorite boxer shorts.

It was one of the worst few days of my life.

Got an offer for my car thats enough to pay off the loan and leave a couple hundred bucks. The car just sits in the garage because my wife and I both work from home and take our SUV everywhere because its more practical. So Im paying like $200 a month for something that doesnt even get used.

Strongly tempted to go through with it but wanted to know if anyone here has done it and if the offer changed before the sale was finalized.

Yeah this is one of those things where like, I know I'm overpaying on taxes every year, government thanks you for your interest free loan, etc., but knowing I'll have about a grand come in every year is a lot better of a feeling then having a grand go out every year.

yeah I spent the last ~5-6 years trying to perfect it so I owe nothing and get nothing but always end up owing a few hundred bucks (though its gotten lower each year, first time was like $900) so this year my wife and I both got new jobs and we decided fuck it were just gonna have the default withholding status and get a refund.

Yeah. I recall late 2015 gas was under $2 in my area. Road tripped to Michigan for thanksgiving and got it for $1.45 at one of the gas stations outside Detroit

Dollar Tree was great when my wife and I were broke and living paycheck to paycheck.

I suppose the Covenant was always more of a religion followed by a collective of different species. So recruiting some to believe in the great journey might make sense. They never want to have human enemies in the single player campaign for some reason so I guess it was always ruled out there.

in the books they go into it a bit more. The prophets discover that humans are the reclaimers and the Halos are actually weapons and they dont tell the rest of the covenant because they think itll fuck the whole religion up so they make humans the sworn enemy of the covenant

Also its weird that they got the actual voice actress for Cortana but gave her a different model from the games
