There is no way I could drop that much on anything in my house right now. I paid $1,500 in cash to get a new hot water heater, since the one we had was old & slowly threatening to flood our basement.
I watched YouTube videos and installed it all by myself & saved $. Yeah, I'm a handy mofo, lol!

Unfortunately the AC used the old refrigerant the government phased out so the only option was replace with a new one. It was 23 years old anyway, and so was the furnace so knocked them both out at once.

Also said fuck it and bought the best system they had. Super efficient, 10 year warranty, etc.

Well see how much it impacts my utility bills and overall comfort of the house, Im optimistic about both. Installation is on Tuesday :D

Might settle for $2 and deal with the home equity loan and one of the cars though if it means letting my folks retire and wiping out most of our debt

It's probably legit though, I recall there were some studies done on it awhile back where it was shown to have nearly the same results as Tamiflu but with less side effects. If it hits $1/share I'll buy a bottle as a keepsake lol

$40 a month on food for two dogs? My dog goes through a $70 bag per month on her own.

They're little dogs to be fair. I just get the big bag of "small dog" Pedigree which is like $20-25 and it usually lasts them a month. Then I get a bunch of those Canine Carryout bags, the smallest one they have and I get one of each type which is like $1.50 per bag and there's 5 or 6 different flavors and that lasts a couple weeks too.

They're not that expensive. I have two dogs, and they just need a yearly vet visit to get physicals and occasionally updated shots. I take them both in for the same appointment and it's like $350 tops.

Then I spend like $40 a month on food and treats.
