My basic premise is as a middle age guy, I find a larger age range attractive. I also discovered how many different personalities and talents can be cool in others. As a younger man, I didn't have enough experience to know all the beauty that the world has to offer. I am also more open minded now and not so focused on types.

Plus side is I know better what my red and yellow flags are in others and I also know KY greens way better too.

I was at Cici's Pizza like 10 years ago. I was there with this married couple I am friends with.

We were chatting and having a nice time. Across from us, was this couple with two kids -- maybe 5 or 6 years old. One of them is super excited and blabbing to his parents how he wants the mac and cheese za slices. The parents obey and bring the za. The kid proceeds to pick off all the mac and leaves behind the za bones. Just a naked za picked clean of all the mac. It was hilarious. The kid does this to like 4 slices.

We were losing it laughing because he was just picking at it. He was using his fingers like a vulture beak plucking the mac off one at a time and making a big production of it too.

When I first started reading it the place was just at the start of ps2 cube box wars. So many great trolls there. I remember this guy called Ryan Washington and he was a huge jerk. He and Nick are the two I remember best. I agree with your assessment though, place was very toxic.

I remember being active in the RP duel circles back when the secret boards and like LTU and Veterans boards did factions. I took that stuff stupid serious for a while.

I also let a gimmick user from Next Gen Gaming slip into my common vernacular. This Nicholas guy would troll the board by acting real pious and nice as part of his trolling gimmick.

He called other posters "gaming pal" and I use that term to this day when making certain irreverent video game remarks. Nick still makes me laugh his gimmick was awesome.

I still smile at all the Shaq Fu Army hijinx like getting Barney Hide and Seek locked.

I remember our boy duckbear hitting me up on AIM in like 2002 or 2003 to argue about whether it was ethical to stomp on bugs. I think I argued with him in a post so he followed up by giving me an ethics questionnaire.

Executive orders only impact components of the executive branch. Presidents can't order the legislative branch to do anything. The president does not have broad power over the other branches of government by fiat.

He can advise and outline what specifically he will or won't sign to the legislature but that is fundamentally different than executive orders.
