Yeah the choices don't matter but the games are solid. Season 2 and 3 are kind of mediocre but I actually enjoyed the final season, mostly because of the payoff and emotions of multiple games coming to fruition.

I don't think I've ever been more bored watching a movie than I was during TLJ, other than maybe Justice League. I has some cool moments and I can at least laugh at how bad most of II is.

Yakuza question for those who've played it: Is there enough fan service in the game to the wider series that I would miss a part of the experience by not playing all of the others?

I've played 0, and have started Kiwami, and they're good, but I can see myself getting burnt out over the sameness of them and the combat not being my thing, and 7 seems right up my alley with the JRPG stuff.

I know its a new character and all new stuff, but I can't help but think I'll miss some of the magic by skipping half the series to play it.

It depends how much I'm enjoying a game. If it's good, I don't have a problem with replaying an hour or so, but if I'm already not into it, even half an hour of a loss is enough of an excuse for me to throw my hands up and say, "well, guess that's that".

The issue with this is that there are a whole lot of people who don't care about gamepass and mostly just play things like CoD and FIFA and Fortnite (The sales numbers of these games every year shows that), and for them they are now being forced to pay $120 a year to play them online.

Currently I can download a F2P game like Fortnite on PSN, Switch, or PC and play it for free online, but on an Xbox I'm going to have to pay $120.
