So is today just moving the initial discussion of every category, where they determine the games that fit into the list of the category, to its own separate thing, or are they going into detail about every game?

I don't know if I want to spend three hours listening if I'm essentially going to be hearing the exact same things when we get to each individual category later in the week.

I'm very curious if Brad got around to finishing RDR2. Last I checked he was still in chapter 3 and seemed to be taking his time.

I think it gets even stronger near the end after starting strong, but the middle parts of it were kind of a drag, so hopefully he was able to push through.

So it's looking like the person I lost to in my money league last week, the 6-7 team who only made the playoffs because the commish is bad and made it an 8 team playoffs for a 12 team league, is now going to win the league and take home the $550.

I haven't really indulged in any Giantbomb content since E3 as I mentioned. Is Spider-Man similar to The Witcher in it being the game that is critically acclaimed everywhere but no one on the staff feels incredibly strong about so they give it a low spot on the list just to recognize that it is indeed a great game?

Even then, there's a difference between, for example, Joe Bowen and Jack Edwards when it comes to "appeals to home fans".

A Bruins player could murder an opposing team's player and Jack wouldn't see anything wrong with it, then he'd have an aneurysm if there was the slightest amount of retaliation. Calls go the same way.

The Raptors team in my biased opinion is the best in the NBA because even though they obviously want the Raptors to win, they'll always call out good/bad calls on either side.

Seriously though, there are spots open in my league if anyone is interested. At this point only about half of us are close friends and the rest of the guys are friends of friends that I don't even know, so it's not a close knit thing.

There is definitely a slot as our tenth guy gave up a couple seasons ago and is only there to fill that final spot as I haven't found anyone else who would be active.

It's a league with friends that I've been running since 2013. There's about 5 or 6 of us that have been committed every year who show up to every draft with the rest being a rotating cast of people who almost always lose interest.

This year was actually our best year in awhile as 8/10 of the players were active the entire season with pickups and lineups, and the 9th team was in a playoff spot for the first 75% of the year despite not changing a lineup after the first few weeks.

We also switched over to full PPR for the first time this year, which has been a lot of fun. I have it at only the top 4 making the playoffs to make it competitive and this year third through eight were separated by one win which made it pretty hectic in the final few weeks.

Near the end of my watching I also realized that I'm not all that interested in the wrestling despite it theoretically being better than ever and care more about the storylines and the fake drama which is both perfect as a WWE fan because they spend too much time on them and also terrible as a WWE fan because they are bad.

Like a new feud would start, and I'd say "oh, this is potentially exciting, I can't wait to see where they go with this, I like both of these people", then by the time the PPV match comes around, I've either lost interest or have seen the match a dozen times in the build-up and no longer care about the actual wrestling.

I am sufficiently pleased with the Epilogue ending.

I was 100% expecting Sadie and Charles to not make it at the end there. Killing Micah was as satisfying as I'd hoped it'd be. I was not expecting a Dutch appearance at the end either!

Those credit cutscenes felt a little ominous when you know what ends up happening.

I still have to play God of War but otherwise this is my GOTY, despite some of the gameplay stuff being annoying.

Just finished Chapter 6. The emotions were running high at the end there.

I can't recall a character that I've grown to hate more than Micah. I've only just started the Epilogue, but I'm going to be disappointed if I don't get to see him die at some point.

The game also did a pretty good job of making me go from "He isn't so bad" to "Fuck you motherfucker" on Dutch by the end there.
