I didn't know churches could be bought. What would you use it for?

Either rent it out for events, a congregation, or as a house.
There are a handful of churches that I drive by that have been converted to regular homes.
Though how much money that costs is really dependent on what you do to them.

In pretty decent shape too. Nice basement. Not sure the bathroom has a shower though.

Gonna have 126 middle schoolers (6th and 7th grade) to deal with.

In a unique situation though, due to changing positions I have had some of the 7th graders for 4 years in a row (3 years at least for most of them), and I have taught most of the 6th graders once before too. Will make remembering names a little easier, I hope.

I gotta free up space on my hard drive.

My mom was trying to talk me into going to the ER, but I don't think I have reached that point yet.

I bought some throat numbing spray. Predictably, it tastes terrible but hopefully it will allow me to sleep tonight.

On Saturday July 29 I noticed I had a fever.
I proceeded to have a fever for the next week.
No other serious symptoms, just a fever (and lack of energy), and I was waking up like 5 times every night just soaked in sweat.
Went to urgent care that Thursday, based on everything they said its probably just a virus, and rest and fluids were my only choice.
I felt slightly better on Saturday and most of Sunday.
Sunday night it felt like I was developing a sore throat.
I wasn't gonna waste time so I went Monday morning and got a strep throat test, it was negative.
But since then I have had a sore throat non stop with no signs of improvement.
I could go to urgent care again but they basically said the sore throat is probably virus related, so again, nothing they can really do.
Today I started to develop and ear ache. Never had an ear infection before so I can't say that's what it is.

The physical symptoms suck, but the mental toll is really taking it out of me. A week of sleep where I woke up covered in sweat followed by a week where I wake up in the middle of the night cause my throat is so sore. I'm reaching my breaking point.
If my ear is still bothering me tomorrow I guess I will go back to urgent care even though I don't know what they can do.

My county went YES by like 2 to 1.
Not a shock, but not good.

I'm shocked Wasserman, or anybody, called it this early.

I'm about 75% done now and I am having fun with it, but I can't imagine playing it on regular or Hard. It would get so annoying when they send 100 enemies at you at once.

I played about halfway through 4 before it pissed me off so much I quit. It kept giving me cool weapons and then barely any ammo, so I was quickly stuck using the weakest and most boring weapon.

I am about done with Chapter 2 of Siberian Mayhem right now. There are only 5 chapters so I will most likely finish. I'm playing on Easy so I don't get too annoyed.

I am kind of amazed they still make games like this anymore, but I guess I am glad they do.

I'm gonna play Shadow Warrior 3, also on Game Pass, when I am done with this.

The first Lu Bu fight is one of like 3 where I co-op with someone to beat.

Beat all main missions and all side missions.
Took me 49 hours. Ended up Level 120.

This was my first ever Souls-like game, and the first "hard" game I have played in forever. Only tried it cause it was on Game Pass.
While I found a few boss fights annoying I pretty much had a good time the whole time. I really liked the level design and exploring them to find hidden items and checkpoints.

Anyways, good game, fully recommend.
8.5/10

Now I gotta think if I want to try another souls-like game right away or play something easier.

Yes. It is basically a vanity project of the guy who started it. The tribe was never for it.

I feel like you really don't taste the seaweed that much. Everything else overpowers it a bit.

Yes. It was too wet. Main problem I think was not letting the rice cool down a bit. I might have added too much vinegar too.

Looks better than I expected.

Up until I actually pushed it out of the contraption onto the nori it was a wet, sticky mess.
So nobody is more shocked than me.

Actually turned out okay! Looked and tasted like sushi! I'm a vegetarian so it has cucumber, carrot, avocado, and tofu inside.

I bought a cheap sushi bazooka on prime day. This was my first attempt using it. I don't have a rolling mat but rolling it in nori was actually the easiest part.

There were things I know I can do better though. I probably over stuffed it in the beginning. I should have let the rice cool down more.

But I could see this being a thing I do when I want sushi.

But they used my email address, so I was able to reset the password to gain access.
So not really sure what the plan was there.
Hopefully get it deleted tomorrow.

And I can't think of anything, partly because COVID screwed up my memory so bad, but I really don't think I have ever done anything petty.

I would now like to point out that after 30 hours, I just figured out what sub battlefields (side missions) are. Now they are all insanely easy because I am overleveled.

You might want to try Nioh 2 before Jedi, it's basically wo long (even made by the same team) but better.

Made a post a few weeks ago when I first started playing, since this is the first hard game, souls-like, whatever you want to call it, that I have ever played.
At first I was shocked I even beat the first boss, but I'm further now and still really enjoying it.
I am about 30 hours in and about 75% of the way through. I wasted a lot of time in the first couple levels because I really didn't "get" how to play the game, so I died, a lot.
I think my favorite thing about the game is the level design, and exploring every area. It is also nice when you are really locked in and know no enemy is going to stop you. I wouldn't say the boss battles are fun, but they haven't been too annoying. I really only got stuck on 1 so far, and I just co-op it with a person online. So I know if I really get stuck later I can do that again, which is nice.
I'm thinking I might try Jedi Fallen Order after this.

If they released it in limited release it would be eligible for Oscars, which they did, which is why it was nominated for Best Original Screenplay.
It can't be both up for both Oscars and Emmys.

My non-stick pans are super old and I am probably eating non stick chemicals in every meal.

I found it odd that the mother was like "we found him but he is non-verbal right now and can't speak" like they haven't really shared many details but the fact that he seemingly can't talk seemed bizarre

Beat the 3rd boss and it only took me like 3 tries.

Still trying to figure out what weapon to use.

I'll be gone for the weekend though, so this topic will purge and I will forget all my skills and be bad when I pick it up again next week.
