Coins and currency uses a grading system. The system is out of 70 for both coin and paper.

The collector value of an item can vary wildly in just a difference of .5 or 1. An MS 67 is certainly worth less than an MS68...in some cases there could be hundreds of MS67s floating around in the pop reports and under five or ten 68s or higher. The value can vary wildly between grades.

I see on the Numismatic Gauranty website there has been 1 submitted that graded 69, 62 at 68, and 610 submitted at 67 for the 2018D lincoln cent(just your average circulation coin). The guy with the 69 could likely sell his for thousands, the guys with the 68s a few hundred and the 67s...maybe not even enough to make back the cost of grading. They took a chance and thought they may have had "the one" and they all failed. This also depends on the population reports from the other reputable websites.

I remember a few good subs, but only one bad one.

The reason is because he wasn't bad, he was infamously bad, to the point i felt for him. I don't know what his "deal" was, but he couldn't do anything right. At all. His classes were boring(just him reciting text), and when he tried to spruce it up once he came in with a black and white power point with no pictures or anything. He'd often staple packets in the wrong order, and a bunch of just "off" things, like whatever it was, he didn't fully grasp it. It felt like somebody was trying but could not grasp how to properly do anything basic. One teacher, not even the one he was shadowing, said to a completely different class that it was sad for somebody to drop everything they were doing to become a teacher(it seemed like the began in their 30s from different work) and just be so bad at it.

The subs that were just boring or regular bad I don't even remember.

the message says:

"that down syndrome looking ass Patton Oswalt can do suck a ****" (I suspect this could get me moderated, but oh well. that is what the message says)

At first I found it weird because I can't ever recall caring about Patton Oswalt. Never found him funny, never had a reason to watch anything he's been in. I look him up, and I guess he posted a photo of him with Dave Chappelle, people complained, so he took it down. I guess.

The thing is...I don't care about any of this. My friend is heavily invested in anti cancel culture, but I just don't really care all that much. I don't care that Patton posted a photo of him and Dave. I don't care that people complained. I don't care that he took it down or apologized or whatever. I just don't really care, and I can guarantee none of this will ever really matter in the end.

This is going to segue into one of those rants where all you can do is respond "yep." and "oh I see" because you aren't competely informed on the topic at hand in the first place but also because you don't really care.

I ought to just tell him I don't give a shit, but that seems rude.

Okay, the final tally is:

$100 - 6/$600
$50 - 10/$500
20 - 37/$740
$10 - 12/$120
$5 - 24/$120
$2 - 2/$4
$1 - 290/$290

There is a strap of 100 $1 bills in there, but it was a find and it counts!

The total is 381 notes for a face value of $2,254

I guess that is about where I thought it would be.

https://imgur.com/SiAU4Bt

I don't know how much money that is. It's a mixture of all denominations, but mostly one dollar bills. I've been searching and hunting and not being anal about my spreadsheet.

I'm not laundering money, ....sometimes things get out of hand. This is like a year or so of register, bank and ATM finds. I should be adding notes as I find them to my sheet and file them away but I just let them gather. I don't even remember what all is in here. I know I saw a 1934 earlier, I have one seven of a kind and other wacky stuff.

I kinda feel like going through this....I will report back later with what I have. feel free to take a guess...I truly have no idea what is there aside from the strap of notes. I have one or several notes of every denomination in there, but it is mostly going to be $1s.

I like fancy cheese, but I functionally don't need a cheese tray because I have plates, and I haven't served up a variety of cheese at a dinner or party ever in my life. Do I keep it, in case they visit again and want to make up a cheese platter? Do I give it to good will to reduce clutter around here at the risk of it being "a thing"?

I can excuse it when people don't know certain things. Like two coworkers got me a coffee much each. I have 10 already accrued through various means, and I only use a few of them as it is. Sure, that is something I'll either have to give to good will or re-gift, but oh well. These people didn't know I have so many already.

My mom got me a set of neck ties, when I have 20 already and only use them maybe twice a year. She then got me two winter coats when she knows I don't need them and won't wear them, because I have a jacket already that is good enough. These are just items that, while I appreciate the thought and effort, are immediately just going to be returned without me even trying them on or seeing if I like them.

This topic sounds like ungrateful whining, and it definitely is but I feel like most of the stuff I have but don't use are just christmas gifts i've gotten through the years because people need to get somebody something...it's rather annoying. I didn't really ask for much this year...because I don't need much that I can't buy already. But you still end up with a pile of gifts anyways you don't want or need that just kinda sit there unless you re-gift or go to good will.

I probably wouldn't do onlyfans, but i have bought individual videos from performers before on other sites. I've been watching porn since I was a teen. I've spent maybe a couple hundred bucks on porn in 15+ years of consumption. I consider that a hell of a steal.

I don't use amazon any more because of a combination of Jeff Bezos being weird, stories of workers being treated unfairly, and how I ordered a pen from one of the sellers on amazon and got shipped an obvious fake. Now, granted, amazon did let me return it for full refund after I sent it back, but that experience soured me on them, because if I go into a staples or office max or one of a bout fifty dedicated pen websites, I won't be shipped a cheap and clearly fake fake pen...Granted, this was a shady amazon seller and not amazon directly, but they allow this kind of stuff to happen on their platform, so they are at fault. I'm also pretty certain other than getting my money refunded, nothing happened to the seller, even though I put the reason for return is that I got shipped a fake pen.

While we are on the topic of pens, that pen I lost the other day(I made a thread about) isn't even on Amazon, so I couldn't buy it from there to replace it. But, since I've been burned once before, I really wouldn't be buying it from amazon either. Or Ebay, because of potential similar issues from individual sellers on a marketplace type setup.

Not shopping at shitty companies can be difficult, I imagine. Because, when you get down to it, you also need to filter out the local companies that are shitty which can he hard to do. And as pointed out, major companies like nestle and kelloggs own a lot of shit.

My problem is people who couldn't imagine a life without Amazon. It isn't really all that difficult to get your things elsewhere

fountain pens, I imagine would not write very well on receipt paper, which I do a lot.

Ballpoint is good for what I need, and this pen indeed wrote clearly and smoothly every time. I never had to draw circles to get it started and it wrote consistently through. But on a ballpoint, you can get that same writing smoothness on a pen less than $10, after all, this is proprietary Cross ink. Refills are like five bucks. But it looked so cool and felt like a piece of tool jewelry, akin to a watch. And it felt good in the hand when writing.

I was working again today and it did not show up. I am still annoyed at this. Christmas is right around the corner, even though it wouldn't be 40% off, I could always ask for another one. But this calls in to question why even bother if I can lose it like that? But...the gaudiness is also something I respect. I don't need to carry around this thing, but it brings me so much joy to hand it to others. I did just get a 100 year old pocket watch("toothpaste" colorway, as some said here in the past)...man showin' off is fun.

Recently I bought a Cross Wanderlust Borneo. I was at an office max that was going out of business, and their fancy pens were 40% off, so I snagged a $60 pen(cheapest I can find online is just office max not on clearance) for $36. This was supposed to be my forever pen: a pen so nice, you don't need anything else. Well, in my case, I wouldn't, because while I like a nice pen I am not a huge pen fanatic.

I lost it at work. Tore up the place. Cannot find it. I think I know what happened: I had it clipped to my pants pocket. It must have clipped onto a plastic bag I gave to a customer, because I noticed this happen before with a pen in a similar position clipped on my pants, but I caught it before anything bad happened. I was also remarking how the clip on the pen wasn't clipping as tight as usual(which, Cross pens seem notorious for clips losing tension). That is the only thing I can think of because I cannot find it anywhere and I remember where I last had it(at work, writing something in the office), so it isn't lost in my car or at my house. I hope, if my theory about it clipping on to a bag is correct, the person who got the bag returns it, but I wouldn't count on it.
