not a kidney stone but one time my dad stubbed his toe and the entire big toe nail came off.

I thought it was cool that he saved it because I always liked growing my nails and cutting huge chunks off and this was an entire nail.

but my mom threw it out because she thought it was a corn chip.

I know people on here have said in order to get good reddit you need to search out the good subs, which is fair. I mean I have a couple I like I go to, but I still browse the front page for lazy time killing and i guess what annoys me most is people getting rewarded constantly for lazy posts that probably arent true. But it isnt like this is a unique complaint, so eh whatever.

usually. You see a lot of posts where somebody takes an old photo and say its their great grandpa or something, and they get upvoted to hell and back. now while nobody is claiming the Tienanmen square dude is their uncle just about any old photo without famous people is fair game. there is no way you can actually prove, in most cases, that they are telling the truth.

one I just saw was in a thread on the front page where somebody asked what the most expensive thing you own is, and somebody said "my new transplanted heart" and nothing else, and the person got 2 silver and 3 gold when theres no way you can prove that happened unless something behind the scenes occured via PM or something.

it isnt hard to lie on the internet. significantly easier than in real life(and we all know how often people lie in real life).

There was a HBCU that gave a girl a scholarship(or partial) because, as a waitress, she took time out of her busy shift to cut a man's food and help feed him because he struggled on his own, and the story went viral. College are not only looking for the best students academically.

Harvard seems like a school where they want people with good academics but also extraciriculars too. I imagine somebody with a perfect SAT score(a bad metric with which to judge people imo) who didnt do anything extraciricular wouldnt be getting accepted. This doesnt seem like a recent development either but i dont know.

hogg has become a national figure at this rate, sparking conversation about guns. However in the same turn if his academics/test scores were terrible i doubt he'd be getting a call either.

I havent bought records in a long time. Not that I dont love em but my basement got flooded last year and I have no room to set up my system. Plus saving money, but...

A local record store called The Attic. Like you said a little pricey but you like to support them.

Some places that sell vinyl in the real world, regardless of if I have had success finding records I want there

thrift stores, though these only tend to carry a bing crosby christmas , the odd super mega 70s/80s album(but nothing great like a dark side of the moon) and random musical stuff. Ive found a few childrends records there I thought were interesting like the aforementioned over the rainbow, and a couple of stories being read on 45. But you might find something cool.

The Exchange. I bought my first two records there: an Angels & Airwaves the adventure picture disk and landed backed with bitches aint shit by ben folds. They used to only carry a handful of records as they were and still are a catch all weird media store. they had and probably still do carry used laser discs. But now they have a dedicated section with tons upon tons of records. used, new, whatever. Not as massive as local record stores for example but several packed comic book esque bins.

Half Price Books. I dont know how nationwide this chain is, but they sell records. a mix of new and old records. seems like you can find gems here though i havent. You can also buy signed copies of books here so they get some limited vinyl.

ebay: good resource. especially for rarer 45s and stuff. The rarest record I own, everything falls apart by Husker Du was acquired here. You might even find a seller who has thousands of listings selling shit just to get rid of it, so you can find bargains.

amazon: kinda the same as ebay. Lotsa weird stuff on here, too. One year on record store day there was a 45 put out Don't Want to know if you are lonely by Husker Du on one side and the other was the green day cover. I found that on amazon. these individual sellers have some nice stuff sometimes.

punk and its related subgenres mostly.

though i do have some classic records I took from my grandmas attic when cleaning it, though they arent in good condition and had been sitting in a hot attic for years before i did. some of these are a couple led zeppelin albums, beatles, a bruce springsteen compilation....but when i go through and catalog all of this I wont include those since they werent mine and honestly i dont care about that kinda music, plus the conditions on em look pretty ratty so I wouldnt want to play em in that regard as well.

Topicmight do a football manager 2018 save with the England 22 level pyramid included
argonautweakend
12/19/18 2:16:06 AM
#1
Basically, in english football they have a promotion and relegation system like the majority of the world in football/soccer/poop

okay, so the pyramid is actually 22 levels deep, some levels with 4-5 or more co-leagues(such as conference national, then under it conference north and south) that exists in parallel.

This means you can start at level 22, the mix sussex football league division 9 and theoretically get to the premier league. this game, or this mod, allows that but in real life I dont know. Looking it up briefly the official "pyramid" only goes to level 11 but it looks like below that the leagues are de facto in a hierarchy.

BUT if I did it I would have no choice but to give the team millions of dollars to see who I can sign and who I can smash on my way to the top. Now having a millions of dollars is a significant advantage for every level, a level so low the teams are amateur(meaning nobody is being paid or on an official contract but players can be of any age) and dont really even have budgets or anything means i'd be richer than probably every team in the initial 10-15 divisions combined, because of my low, low stature I couldnt get just anybody you see. Lionel Messi or even some scrub from an in-game lower level likely wouldnt want to sign for me for that reason alone. I could pay them whatever they want, and unless fm18 is different than 13, because of your low rep(and indeed taking a 15 league demotion) they wont even discuss it with you. So while I can buy anybody, it has to be anybody remotely interested in playing for me. But yeah, that might keep me from going super super OP but make no mistake I'll own everything.

Which I dont care, because the game comes with an editor standard so yeah i'm doing it. Plus going from the lowest english league in game, the conference north/south is tedious as it is so add on 16 more leagues and there you go. Then to further the OP I will make this team full professional, so players train 7 days a week and I can offer them however much money I want! Or I may just ask the boardroom in game for this change shortly, since im so rich they should agree.

If I begin this journey I can be only one team, Fairwarp United from the Mid-Sussex football league division 9. Every other team in this league is a II and IIIrd team for a team several divisions up.

I guess since i never handle hundreds in my personal life normally(though a few saved up in my curren y collection ive swapped from tills) it baffles me where people get them and that they either dont know or care that actual financial institutions aka banks will trade those for lower denominations.
