Spot price is the price right now for one troy ounce of silver.

Kind of like a stock's current trading price. It changes daily, and throughout the day some.

A silver quarter has .1808 troy ounces of silver in it, so even the worst condition silver quarters are generally worth way more than 25 cents.

Right now, the Ag(silver) content of a quarter is worth: .1808 X $22.68(what one ounce is worth)...so $4.10.

The metal content of a quarter is 90% silver and 10% copper. a modern quarter is some combination of copper/nickel clad and worth cents.

At a fairly modern low of $12.45 achieved in the pandemic, one of these quarters was worth $2.25

At a fairly modern record high $47.04 in 2011, the value is $8.51 that is $570.

But then we consider that some of these are semi key dates.

There are no 1932 D or S unfortunately. At a mintage of around 400,000 each they are valuable in almost any condition. around $100+ in bad condition and a few thousand in amazing condition.

I have some that are under 10 million minted, with a rough value of 10 to maybe 15 bucks, according to my Red Book. Most of these quarters are rough, but oh well.

Not that amazing...but just some added value. then, we consider that I could have some varieties, which I will check for at some point. I see things like a 1942D, which I have, containing a doubled die obverse, making its value a couple hundred dollars. I'd estimate my chances of finding most varieties, and indeed this one, at less than 1%, but, added potential value as well.

This is the kind of deal I would be willing to take almost any time. It's an investment that has almost zero downside.

Well, my coin collection isn't much of a collection in some ways. It's stuff i've found through the years, but nothing is in Whitman folders like these quarters(book with holes in it for each coin so you can track your progress and complete a set), and I have little interest in collecting all the coins. For me the motivator has been money, but over time I've gained appreciation in other ways, like the history and all that, but if I wanted I could get a modern Whitman album for national parks quarters and then get rolls from the bank and go to town filling it up.

Are there things I've never sell? Well, I'd say there isn't, but to date I haven't really sold anything. Initially I wanted to sell a lot of stuff, but then I realized I had some sense to joy keeping it...most of the things I have aren't super valuable, though....it's kinda tricky. I never envisioned having 500+ $1 bills at the start, now I couldn't imagine life without em.

Because I am a coin collector. But more importantly, the silver content. The bare minimum price you should sell these for is the current spot price X .1808. This deal is only going to make me money when I sell.

I generally prefer to find coins, and not pay for them, but nearly spot for these quarters is definitely something to look in to. This is a little over 12 ounces of silver for spot. Hell yeah i'll take it.

Silver quarters(pre 1965) in Whitman folders. 67 quarters.

My friend was talking with a customer of his and this guy was going to go to a cash for gold place, but somehow he settled on the figure of 67/268 so they do not go to one of those places. He's broke, so he called me(the person who got him into coin collecting) and after some quick math I decided to take that deal.

The Dog(spot) says the .1808 Ag in a quarter is 3.95, and I paid $4 per quarter

But today the .1808 Ag makes each quarter worth $4.08, so I am ahead.

I dont have them yet, but my friend does, and I am picking them up tonight. I don't know what years are included, but some Washington(1932-1998) quarters are fairly rare and worth hundreds+ depending on condition, such as the 1932 D and S. My friend said there were "key dates" in the mix, but he asked me if I wanted him to elaborate and I said no. I want to be surprised.

Man, this is exciting.

Lots of places require you to be vaccinated or have a recent negative test. some places have on site rapid testing as well.

Also, at least at college football games, a lot of schools require you to be vaccinated as part of enrollment, and, at any college football game a large portion of fans by default are vaccinated college kids.

There's a reason stadiums are mostly open now whereas a year ago before the vaccine they weren't.

So...that bill is a six of a kind and they are all in a row. I don't think it's worth much because

1) seven of a kind or a full solid is where the money is.
2) it is in horrible condition.

However, it may be worth something small(like maybe 5 bucks) but the question is how to sell it and make it worth your while. I don't know. This is something I would keep and hold on to but I wouldn't expect to make money off of it.

That note is ridiculously close to a seven of a kind and not too far off from a full solid. It is nice, just not valuable.

https://tinyurl.com/57d6tkbm

Mine is from a 3.2 million, non run rare of notes from 2017 issued to the Atlanta bank.

The best price, the only price for one of these is exactly $100, but not everybody can just wait it out and be patient until you can get one naturally. I also have a strap of $2 star notes that I purchased for $200, so like why pay premiums?

Okay, so I do feel that since I thought it was a blood clot(so many symptoms lined up) this was worth an ER trip to quell the fear, because those can be deadly.

But while I am glad I do not have anything that serious(and even after 1 anti bio pill it feels better), this played out like how I hoped it didn't:

wait for 4.5 hours, am seen for 15 minutes, prescribed antibiotics....find out it isn't that serious of an issue. I feel like wasted time in a sense, especially because I couldn't go to bed until I got home at 6:30AM. This should only cost $200, which isn't much at all compared to other ER trips I've made in the past, so that's nice. Plus, I don't see how else I'd have gotten a definitive answer and a prescription for what I need to fix it if I just "waited it out"

BUT this has awakened me to taking better care of my health. I have great health insurance now, I should use it. The things I have been neglecting lately such as routine checkups and other things I need to get looked at. "feeling good" which is generally the case is no excuse to not take care of my health.

I don't even fear the doctor, but I struggle to book stuff and plan ahead, but I am going to try to make a concerted effort to take care of my health in ways I have neglected for a while.

this looks like it could maybe be a blood clot. its the most, but not totally accurate one i've researched to mine.

assuming this is an accurate picture from a website, it doesn't look like this

I dont recall hitting it, dropping anything on it, getting bit by anything etc.

but its been looking like THIS for like 3 days. it does appear to be getting slightly better by the day

https://imgur.com/msLwnFb

Sometimes it throbs in pain, other times it hardly hurts. I feel like when I am walking it hurts the least overall. it doesn't feel like my bones or joints are affected. I can't move those toes well, but that seems due to swollen constrictedness and not some sort of "structural" issue.

what the fuck is this?

It started small, between the big toe and the one next to it a week ago. it felt tender and made walking slightly more difficult.

NOW, you see this is the kinda shit i'm dealin' with. it's gonna take me over. or is it?

my big toe nail is red in that one spot I suspect because i dropped a bottle of vodka on it once months ago. I still say that hurt like a bitch but it did save me from cleanin'

I am awaiting on test results now, so I am not sure. I have some symptoms but not others(no coughing, trouble breathing, or taste loss, but I have a 101 temp and slight body ache and soreness)...I've been around possibly covid contaminated people at work recently, so its either covid or a really mis-timed actual flu or whatever.

I am vaccinated, which is why up until now the symptoms have been very mild, I suspect.

Again, this could be something else but I hardly ever get sick and people i work with came down with it(a week+ ago, and I havent seen them in as long)...
