Toby Fox is also an unbelievable stretch for a quiz like this, because a dog and a fox physically cannot breed. At what age did you first play each? I'm curious because I love SMRPG but have tried PM a few times and always quit because I get bored early on.

Megasmilax is actually after Belome 2. Unfortunately, I don't recall what my Dodo 3 fight was like without equipment or items so I'm not really sure how hard it was. Keep in mind I could level up as much as I want so it's possible I overlevelled to make up for the lack of equipment. Actually, I think I probably had to level up a lot to overpower Megasmilax so I must have still been overlevelled by the time I fought Dodo.

If you overleveled to compensate for no items, I assume you would spam Snowy as much as possible since he's weak to ice (at least until you run out of FP).

I don't think you can just "get the case off her" at the moment. There's no point. If you have any hope of making the women's case matter, she needs to win the first cash-in. If you have any hope of Carmella mattering, she needs to cash-in after Mania at this point. I don't want to just throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Not to mention, the other MITB winner of 2017 already failed his cash-in, and the big draw of MitB is the high success rate of the cash ins, so it would really be best if she won, even if it's a short reign.

They should have never dumped Ellsworth though. Him being Carmella's stooge was the x-factor to her act, and she hasn't been the same since.

If you want to dive into rallies, I think Monika will be the next big target since DDLC is the latest hotness for obsessive indie fans and she's already developed a mini-cult of obsessives. Hell, she might be slightly above the fodder line as is considering DDLC did pretty well in GotY and our shit votals means more obscure characters will look better.

Monika would be a great pick if a character contest was happening right at this moment, but if we are doing a contest in the summer like Allen said, it may be too late for any serious rally potential.

It really hadn't occurred to me how strong of an opponent Knightley really was, but man that gun switch was such a cool moment. It caught me off guard because you don't know how capable your first case killer is really going to be, so seeing Knightley pull off such a slick move really sets the tone for the rest of the game.

Bonus points for Knightley's animations actually playing into his coverup. Obviously, if anyone really treated a firearm like this guy IRL, he'd be instantly fired from his bodyguard job (he's shooting up this plane while the president is INSIDE), but you are used to AA villains being over the top. But who would have thought him firing the gun all over the place would actually play into his plot of disguising how many bullets are in his gun?

Edgeworth got a HOLD IT and TAKE THAT for his playable segment in 3-5. Every playable attorney had all three of those, and then Apollo added GOTCHA, and Edgeworth got EUREKA for AAI.

Oh right, I forgot that he had those lines for 3-5. Still, I suppose there still was a decent sized gap of time between when they recorded Edgeworth's Objection to when they did his other lines.

It does sound like he had his stuffiness (for a lack of a better term) exaggerated for his 3-5 and later lines, but nothing quite jarring like his Dual Destinies voice.

Eh, I dunno. Like, all of Edgeworth's original sound clips EXCEPT his Objection are kinda bad. They don't even all sound like they're from the same person. The OT tries to be a lot more over the top with the sound clips (like Payne's OBJEKSHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN or Alba's HUBJECTION), so maybe people like that better than just them yelling the word at a high volume.

Wasn't OBJECTION the one present for the original trilogy? I don't remember getting any other voiced lines until AAI, which was several years later.

DKC3's problem is that it has to compare itself to the first two games. It's not a trendsetter like the first game, nor is it Godlike.... like DKC2. Alone it's a fine game, but it being the tail end of a trilogy means it's(by necessity) judged harsher.

And yeah, Kiddy was far from the most popular Kong. >_>

And then there's Ellie, who has to stand in the massive shadow of Rambi.

Since you asked, Kiddy Kong does have a few tricks. Team throwing now differs depending on which Kong is doing the lifting. Also, Kiddy has some awkward water skipping ability that's useful about twice in the game.

But yeah, they could have reworked Donkey Kong to hold barrels in front of his body and the game would barely be different.
