I haven't really played other Yoshi games, though since I like Yoshi, I really should.

They're all ultimately Yoshi games, but some of them are also prequels to Mario games.

I think it's best described as a branching point. Wario Land 1 is also Super Mario Land 3 but then became purely Wario Land from there on. I guess the same cold be said about the first Donkey Kong arcade games.

Epona just runs and jumps. Link attacks with swords and bows. He also whips Epona.

Yoshi attacks and fire projectiles and can multi jump.

Yoshi also transforms and you control just Yoshi. You never control just Epona

Sure, that's why the story begins with Baby Mario falling onto Yoshi Island and the Yoshis decide to help him. Of course, Baby Mario is helpless the entire game, being a baby and all. How could a baby command the Yoshis to do anything?

Basically, there's nothing to indicate that you're playing Baby Mario at all, just a bunch of Yoshis.

Probably both. It certainly is the start of a spin off Yoshi series. But things introduced in it feed into Mario (like Red Coins and Baby characters) so it's pretty important I guess.

The Japanese version isn't called Super Mario World 2, it's just Super Mario: Yoshi Island.

Not sure if that makes a difference or not. It's clearly labelled as a Super Mario game, but it's not labelled as a direct sequel to an indisputably 'core' Mario game.

That's because in Japan Super Mario World itself is a subtitle.

SMW is either Super Mario 4: Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World

So for them to name it like us would have been.

It's also an impossible form.

Ultra Instinct or Ultra Instinct Omen (when it finally happens) can't be stacked with SSJ.

It's possible given how it works that maybe it can be stacked with KaioKen, but I kinda doubt it.

Cause UI isn't about Ki control,
It's about your mind being free and body acting by instincts. Your Ki is probably still radical.

And there really shouldn't be a way to calm it because that is using your mind.

First off, you have it backwards. It was Super Mario World: Super Mario 4. At least that's how people recognize it since they put is to the right of the Super in SMW. Second, that's just on the original boxart, but not on the title in the released game like it is with Yoshi's Island, or other things like the music collection.

What is the difference between UI and UI Omen?

From what we can tell Omen is when you are acting without thought of both defense and offense, not just defense. Either that or Toei have two different names for a from and then also gave it two different looks and auras. It's Toei.... the second one is more than possible fuck up for them.

To whoever brought up Epona -- you have it backwards. Epona is the Baby Mario of Yoshi's Island, not the Yoshi.

It's a Yoshi game. At the time they weren't thinking of making Yoshi platformers a thing, most likely. Mechanics-wise, it sets the foundation for all future Yoshi games. Even in terms of art style, it set the standard for the different art direction that is staple to Yoshi series by now.
