Weird thoughts are why I don't talk much, but you asked for them.

I can smell desperation on people. Single people all give off a similar vibe.

People in relationships seem more complete, they don't care that everything is going according to plan. They show that in every problem they face. If something goes wrong, they accept that's just what happens when they attempt something.

With a single person, when something goes wrong it's just typical and all too real.

At my workplace I can tell if a customer is single before I look at the size of their shopping cart based off the vibes they give off, the way they look at me, and the way they talk and with how much investment they respond. (A smaller shopping cart, of course, means single.)

As much as I shit on the Russia thing being a scapegoat for the DNC's shitty corporate side, there's probably some truth to it.

Not that I care. Right now we know the Russians probably hacked the DNC's e-mails... the ones that confirmed the DNC rigged the primaries against Bernie.

I'm pretty over handhelds. You could take them and play them in public, but who actually does that. Usually when you're out of your house you have things to do. It was cool when you were a kid and didn't have a TV or computer all to yourself and you had a tiny SNES/N64 in your pocket.

My brother has one. He hoards it in his room. Very antisocial tbh. The family room feels barren of Nintendo games, unlike the last 12 years. We used to get up every Saturday and Sunday morning and play Super Mario Galaxy.

Nostalgia is the biggest *. When I was young I was probably nostalgic about being younger.

I work in customer service. That's true.

The thing is, before I started being a smiley idiot at work I'd get a complaint a month from some idiot that didn't like my "attitude". If I'm not a smiling idiot, I can tell my intelligent customers actually appreciate it, but then I get that grown child drama queen once a month. I honestly do not care about those people anymore, nor should I have ever cared.

Finally done with my input binding system. Not only does it serialize controller profiles to and from the disk, I can add any other controller support with a couple lines. If controller support isn't as good as or better than Smash Bros., it isn't good enough, so I spent 3 days getting it perfect. Most devs just say "fuck it, jump = spaceBar".

After nesting it in another object I should have one for each player, with automatic re-aranging and controller swapping.

Yeah, and I think that's what went on in my head in my split second reaction to that.

I was driving with my mom once and I told her there was a guy coming up walking in the middle of the street that's impossible to see. She said she didn't see him at all.

Someone could really get hurt driving if the city doesn't do something about these road hazards.

A fat woman was walking down a poorly lit 40 mph street around a curve at night. I saw a faint outline in the dark that I'd assume a lot of people would absolutely miss. I slammed on my breaks and ended up a meter away from her.

And what does she do? She looks up from her phone for two seconds at me and keeps walking at the same exact speed across the road looking back at her phone.
