I've only drank like twice in the past 2 months. I've had a hell of a week at work. Fiancee is working late tonight and a double tomorrow so I'll be home alone with just my dog basically all weekend. I plan on going on a weekend bender because why not?

What are the rules if you don't live with someone? If I want to borrow someone's truck and I get in an accident and its my fault, who's insurance is used?

That's generally fine, this pertains to household members or someone that regularly drives the vehicle.

The biggest culprit of this from my experience is a lot of parents of teens try to not tell the insurance companies about their newly eligible drivers because it makes the rate shoot up. I had one recently where this happened and Progressive still covered the damages to the car but they billed the customer extra premium backdated to when their kid got their license (which was like 4 or 5 months) and added him to the policy going forward.

I had my NES, SNES, and N64 with all the games at my family's fishing camp. I'd keep them there as something to do at night when we'd go, I had my PS2 and GCN at home. Hurricane Rita blew the entire camp into the river and well now they're gone obviously. :(

So a bit of back story about this particular client. He bought a car from a dealership, it's financed so he needed full coverage of course. Insurance in Louisiana is expensive as hell (highest or 2nd highest in the nation), so he didn't get any extra coverage. No uninsured motorist, no rental car, no roadside. Deductibles set at $1000 which is the maximum the finance company would allow. Now when I was writing the policy the system discovered his girlfriend who lived with him as a potential driver. When that happens, I have to either list them on the policy as a driver, or exclude them which means they would specifically not be covered on the policy. I asked him about her, and he said she had wrecks in the past and he couldn't add her because it would make the rate go up too high. So I told him I would have to exclude her then and that she wouldn't be covered if she were to drive the vehicle, basically advising him not to let her drive it if we do this. He agreed, and the policy was written

2 months later to today, he called me and asked for the number to file a claim because his girlfriend got in a wreck and probably broke her arm. Well I gave him the number but I told him that unfortunately she's most likely not going to be covered because we excluded her when we wrote the policy. He proceeded to get mad and cussed me out. Whatever I understand they had something shitty happen to them and he's probably just venting in general so I let him go on for a couple minutes, then told him to call the claims department anyway because it can't hurt to try at least. So he's currently doing that.

Just wanted to let yall know if you know someone is going to be driving your car, especially if they live with you, make sure they're on your policy with you. Don't try to hide it to keep your rates low, or don't allow the other person to drive (especially if they've had accidents before), or if you can't afford the rate when the policy information is accurate, don't buy the car you can't afford. Now this person is about to have a totaled car that won't be reimbursed with a brand new loan that the finance company is going to want to be paid for, and a girlfriend with injuries that won't be covered regardless of who was at fault in the accident.

From my view, it looks like the silver car was intoxicated, wasnt paying attention and when he got pushed lost control because they didnt have a good grip on their steering wheel. After crashing realized how fucked theybwrre and left the scene "as normal and safe as possible" to avoid suspicion.

That, and at the beginning the Silver car is dangerously close to being in the left lane anyway before turning the blinker on, likely having trouble staying in the center of the lane.

Whitney in Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Never understood why so many people have problems with her. If you started with Cyndaquil - use smoke screen to lower accuracy and she usually can't do rollout consecutively enough to destroy your team. If you started with Totodile - you should have learned rage by then which you can build up on the Clefairy and should be doing good damage by the time she throws the Miltank out. If you started with Chikorita, then you can use a leveled up Pidgey to use Sand attack plus it's resistant to rollout anyway. Or catch a Geodude to use rollout of it's own with high defense similar to the Rage strategy. Or just trade for the Machop in Goldenrod to take advantage of the typing matchup.

I4NRulez posted...
no it isnt. Its not like the early 2000s where you just have to download kazaa or something.

you have to have a client, a site, a vpn, and knowledge of file types. Its easier to just pay netflix 10 bucks a month for the average person.

You really don't need all that. You just need to know where to look but sites have them just streaming, no download required.

But services like Hulu or Netflix are more secure and easier to access and like $10-$15 a month shouldn't be a backbreaking rate for the amount of viewing material you gain access to via legal means. Back when you had to pay like $5 per movie to rent it or outright buy the movie there was a little more incentive to pirate since those can add up if you like to watch a lot of movies but that's not really the case anymore.

As far as pirating movies still in theaters, yeah I suppose releasing them on streaming services is easier for the pirates, but the same rationale applies here. Movie tickets plus concessions could rack up a sizeable tab so there was more of an incentive to pirate if you really wanted to watch the movie. But these days a month of paying for a streaming service is cheaper than a night out at the movies so them being released on said services, while it's easier for the pirates to upload them, it also lessens the incentive for the consumer to pirate at all

I bought a townhouse almost 5 years ago that I currently still live in. My mortgage and HOA dues add up to ~$1k/mo. For a 2 bed/2.5 BR in a nice area that's not bad at all, the run down apartment I stayed in during college costed more than that (think it's been converted to section 8 housing since then). I'm getting married in less than a year and if me and my fiancee decide to start a family of our own, we'll need a bigger place.

I was planning on just keeping the townhouse and renting it out when the time comes to move, it's in a pretty nice complex with good amenities and a good neighborhood. Figured someone who couldn't afford to purchase such a place could benefit by finding reasonable rent prices in a good area, perhaps college students that want a better choice than the seedy apartments near campus like I had to do if they cant afford to live on campus.

After the past year or so and seeing the attitude towards landlords, those plans have pretty much changed. Not just because of that, also don't think it's worth the maintenance and potential incurred losses that come with being a landlord. Just gonna sell it to someone who can afford to purchase it outright and then they can either live in it or rent it out and deal with all that.

I'm not trying to say landlords are some kind of angels or that they're not trying to make a buck, but they do offer another option for people that don't want to live in shitty government housing/corporate apartment complexes but also can't afford to put a down payment on a mortgage. If we dissuade enough private landlords from offering to rent, then that option will cease to exist and renters will be left with corporate and government housing, which I don't think will be any less greedy, plus the areas available to live will shrink as well.

I mean the spikes and weight of the shoe matter a lot, I say this as someone that ran track and cross country in HS and I remember how much time I shaved off my various distances once I upgraded my shoes sophomore year.

I think despite winning he's essentially saying there needs to be some kind of standard so competitors are competing on the basis of their own talents and not by their equipment, since some competitors might be sponsored by a better company and therefore get better equipment. I think it's a valid argument, and probably better for him to say it after winning so people can't just write off his argument as sour grapes.

Wonder if legality had anything to do with it.

Might have something to do with tolerance. I know when I first started smoking I got the giggles a lot and time kinda slowed down and was kinda trippy. I can see how an experience like that might be negative for some. As I smoked more it got to the point where I just felt a little sleepy and lightheaded but otherwise feel the same.

Or perhaps just body chemistry, since most of the people I know that have said that was their reaction to weed usually tend to prefer opiates so maybe that has something to do with it
