Whoa. Balance team continues to prove how inept they are, but we're use to it by now. But an actual good general update for once! So what do you do about the enemy base doing the desperation type move that insta ko's all your units? I'm on the third fight, I had both Tifa and Barret, plus 5 or 6 units attacking the base and it just wiped them all out, and then did it again with the next group I summoned immediately afterwards.

The Warlock one is the main pain but otherwise its just sitting until the enemy shows up and then summoning your guys at that point to build up Tifa. Then once you turn the tide just pop Tifa's haste and zerg lol.

TV shows are shot in 24-30 FPS. Live sports are usually 30 FPS. But I never hear people complain about shitty FPS when watching TV shows and demand 60 FPS

I play Switch games that run sub-30 all the time and I can easily deal. But I'd never actively choose less over more regardless of graphics or resolution. Gameplay should always be prioritized over graphics. Which is why shit like TTYD HD is both baffling and infuriating.

Maybe it's the years of playing MMOs on maxed out settings and I just got so used to lower FPS that FPS doesn't bother me as long as it's at least 30. Whereas stationary graphics I'm more likely to notice the difference

They really should have just implemented a jump button. Why are airborne enemies so fucking annoying and so plentiful?? Also would have made a lot of sense given the open world design they went with.

I started on Graphics mode and it looks good to me!

But it looks just as good graphically(as far as you an tell) but runs buttery smooth on performance mode!

Because I frankly don't agree with this. I can't recall a single non-arthouse 80s or 90s movie (and I would bet all the money in the world that arthouse anything did not enter the discussion for it) that does the 'spend 30 minutes following people with no names whom you know little about' thing that The Force Awakens does, for example. I feel this is more having a pet hypothesis and wanting to force it than something substantiated. Open to being convinced with examples tho.

I tried graphics mode for 5 secs and it felt like 20 fps. I saw my entire life flash before my eyes between every frame.

Performance mode as far as I can tell is just a bit lower internal resolution. You can see the difference close to the TV but not at any decent distance.

Yeah there's literally just no reason not to play on performance mode. Idk why they won't make it the default.
