Grunty's tower is just a straight climb, one level after another, whereas Peach's castle has open sections and lets you choose which levels to do in each area. Then there's some levels actually being somewhat hidden making their discovery pretty fun, then levels where how you enter has an effect on the level itself. Then there's the actual levels in Kazooie that are linear. The placement of notes and stuff dictates the path you walk pretty heavily, while Mario's levels feel like actual sandboxes. --- My friends call me Vee. I'm not your friend, buddy. |
