The atmosphere only lasts for the first playthrough, after that you're left with a flat experience that's not really worth revisiting. RE games have a reputation for replay value and I just don't think 7 has any. Heck in media the island building isn't even showcased, I feel it focuses on bug catching, fishing, and decorating. That Pokemon clue is worded badly at the end; even if you suspected Pokemon due to Trainer and Gym, you'd be completely thrown off by "series that offers Sword and Shield."
