And I will search it up on Glassdoor.com and apply to it. Because I would like to work somewhere that isn't fucking terrible to work at like retail or fast food. But take not that I cannot apply anywhere that requires experience or an education?

Warehouses, any big retail or food service place will have their own warehouses. Try a grocery or pizza chain.

Package handling, like UPS, FedEx, or even USPS. This isn't in a store, this would be at a distribution center.

That has merits. But you got to take the jobs they offer or you will be blacklisted. Even if this means you have to drive 100 miles for a three day job.

If you don't want to go to a traditional university, then why not go to a trade school? Trades like plumber, electrician, carpenter, HVAC, etc are very good careers that pay good salaries.

You aren't likely going to find a good job that doesn't require a degree and/or certifications. Trade school is a very good alternative for people who don't want to go to a traditional university.

If you absolutely don't want to get a degree or certifications, then joining the armed forces is probably your next best bet. They pay very well too, and you can get experience there that can lead to other careers later on.

Almost all unskilled labor jobs suck. It's not just retail and restaurant jobs that suck. Almost all unskilled labor jobs suck. Even something like a warehouse job isn't a very good job. Many warehouses aren't air conditioned, so it will get hot as hell in there. It's also very hard manual labor, much more so than working at retail or restaurants. If you can't handle a retail job, then you're certainly not going to be able to handle a warehouse job either.

My retail job was a lot more demanding than my office job and it paid like shit. Retail jobs are by definition not cushy because they don't pay well, and that says nothing about how hard it is to deal with customers literally your entire day

Was going to say call center, but it's like a million times worse. Otherwise, there are a ton of jobs which don't require much in the way of qualifications, including factory work, manufacturing, and the like where the only real req is pissing clean. Then, as others mentioned, there are *tons* of low-end office jobs although, thanks to a glut of kids with college degrees not finding real work, staffing agencies tend to look for people with bachelors to do jobs which don't really require a degree and were traditionally done by people with just a high school education.

That's not what cushy means by any definition >_> Cushy just means easy or undemanding, which is why people say "high-paying cushy job" rather than just "cushy job." And, by the way, some retail jobs are absurdly low-demanding.

They are cushy because they present no difficult challenge as well as a very comfortable environment.

Dealing with customers is trivial compared to something like having to keep up with a dinner rush or maintain production levels at a factory.

Fast food is a superset of retail difficulty. You have to deal with customers just like retail, but you have to do it faster and better.

Making rate isn't that big of a deal at all, more that you get yelled at if you're constantly under-rate.

It's super comfortable to walk around for 8 hours and deal with people who seem to only want to come in when they are angry over unrelated issues and make it your problem. And pushing credit/loyalty cards no one wants more of.

Oh woe is you, having to walk around in a quiet, low pressure environment and occasionally have to help people. No one else has to be on their feet all day right?

Not a canned line to try and upsell! And occasionally deal with an angry customer, truly you have it hardest. Without a doubt, no other jobs has such hardships as occasionally having someone mad at you.

Plus you get to work random hours that change all the time. Who doesn't love to work until 10 on a Saturday night?

Now complaining that it's shift work lol

Entitled retail workers are the worst. Complain all day despite having no real hardships. Retail was by far the easiest job I've ever worked.
