I've got mixed emotions on this. I liked James Gunn in spite of his politics. His PG Porn series was hilarious. I've got a feeling the heart and soul of the GotG movies is going to go missing for the third installment.

On the other hand, I've seen this tactic of dredging up old comments in order to discredit someone used far too often. If there's backlash from this, maybe people will be less likely to apeshit about long dead history. Or maybe it'll just intensify, I don't know.

As someone who actually worked a cleaning job, there is nothing more disgusting than cleaning up a bathroom. And this wasn't some pub or a party place, this was an office building. Your shit still clinging to the bowl? Clean it up yourself, you disgusting human.

I did some similar work 20-odd years ago at a department store. Ever have anyone spray shit all over the wall behind the toilet? Do you want to know what 18 and 19 year old girls think of the 19 year old boy who had to clean that up?

Minnesota gets bitter cold, but it's quite lovely. Also, no sales tax on clothing. (I haven't lived there, but I've visited Duluth a couple of times in a couple of seasons.)

I saw someone on a different social board do some negotiating. He (I think it was a he?) asked for a pay bump and some added time off, and he got a few thousand more per year but no on the time off. Then again, the position was for a director's position at a university.

Check out Glassdoor.com and see what they say about both the company and the prevailing wage in your area. You might be able to negotiate a few dollars more. Just keep in mind the level of competition and don't overplay your hand.

I had a surprisingly easy time getting an NES Classic. They had a bunch at Gamestop. I went in to buy Red Faction Guerrilla Remarstered, which they didn't have, but I walked out with one of the systems and a wireless controller. Yay for me.

I asked for a compilation of 8 and 16 bit titles, including some games that never officially made it to the US. That's a big ask, but the current retro thing might sell a few copies.

I gave it to the kid today. Both are nice, Justice's has a little sneaky in there that's just adorable.

I think my leg muscles have gotten strong enough to push for a higher speed. I was at 3.6 MPH, bumped it to 3.7 MPH out of boredom, and didn't get the tightness that had been holding me back. Whatever that wall was, I can push past it. Pretty soon I'll be up to a jog, and that should finally get some serious results.

I didn't spend any real time with Wii Sports... I'm not even sure I played it, it's just my nieces and nephews played it a bunch and I don't remember if they ever needed a stand-in. Anyway, if I ever actually did play that then the answer is PUBG.

I had to look up Holly Earl. It turns out she was in an episode of Red Dwarf when she was much younger (like 19 years ago), and I'd seen that episode when it was more or less new. I'm old.

There's something about Reese Witherspoon I just can't bring myself to like, and I don't know what it is. Nice smile, though.

Mostly digital. Truth be told, I hardly ever visit Gamestop anymore except to get PSN cards to use for digital purchases. I feel bad, kind of, but once you start accumulating physical games they wind up taking up a lot of space.
