I'm very out of shape. I'm also Diabetic (type 2), and to make a long story short, I told my doctor that I'd start trying to do some basic exercise because I don't have the space to do much. I can't do cardio because I'm in a top floor apartment.

I am extremely out of shape. I managed five pushups and not a single sit-up during my first attempt. A good part of the problem is that I'm much heavier now than I was before. I've cut back on sugar and carbs since my doctor visit, and I'm starting the exercise (better than not starting).

One more question: movie version or radio version?

When did Board 8 get into adult contemporary? That's the only way to explain some of these results.

Im expecting a strong showing from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I dont really like some of the songs (I respect Tony Jay, but Hellfire isnt really my thing).

Originally, the film's climactic spaceship chase was instead an airplane chase through the city of Honolulu. This was changed and Disney had to completely re-animate the scene from the ground up because of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, since it was considered too controversial and upsetting for a children's film. In fact, the film was pushed back by an additional seven months to account for these changes. Several other scenes in the film were cut that involved airplanes and airplane seating.

I'm trying to find a funny way of pointing out that we voted 9-11, but I'm coming up empty.

I thought the CMA approved this a month ago. What was that about?

That's precisely the reason why I didn't vote for it. I watched my grandmother deteriorate from dementia, so that scene got me weepy.

I use my shirt if nothing else is available. I prefer lens wipes since they do a better job of removing fingerprints, and I will use a tissue if that's not around.

Yay, console release frame for My Time at Sandrock! It's a pity that they didn't let their backers know, but once you've spent the money on hard liquor to get through late night coding sessions I guess you tend to forget these details.

Your other guess, We Don't Talk about Bruno, is correct. It held the number 1 spot for an impressive 5 consecutive weeks, making it the longest run at the number 1 spot for any Disney song, surpassing All for Love from the live-action film The Three Musketeers, which held the top spot for 3 consecutive weeks in 1994. A Whole New World, the only other animated Disney song to reach number 1, was only atop the charts for a single week.

Funny story here, if memory serves. Jeopardy had this question for one of the Final Jeopardy rounds, just in the opposite way. The question pointed out that WDTAB was the most recent and said that one other one (a duet) had made it to the number one spot. I managed to come up with it, but I don't remember if any of the contestants did.

My favorites got some really tough competition. Star Wars against Strange Things, now We Don't Talk About Bruno versus The Caucus Race. Even I had to vote for WDTAB. I still love the wordplay for TCR, I think it's a fun song, but it just can't compete.

That's hard to say. I think my most expensive items all ran at around $500 (laptop, PS5, mattress), none of which are top of the line. Of those, the one that required the most additional discretionary spending was the mattress; it's a twin XL from a local company, something in their midrange line. Certainly a step up from the basic models.

Commenting on today's match, I'm not really a fan of There's Something There. The staccato notes in the chorus don't work for me here, and Chip's bit at the end feels a bit foolish. Just me being a grump, I'm sure.

I took a closer look and found the ant still inside the jar, so that's a relief. Gonna have words with my brother when my niece goes home, though.

It was a long day at work. I came home and discovered that my niece was here. OK, I thought she was coming tomorrow, but fine.

Turns out she made a new friend. It's an ant. In a bug catcher. With relatively sizable air holes. And she can't find it, maybe because it's "hiding in the grass".

I swear, my brother has done more to trash this apartment...

That third President Jr. thing is a maybe. It depends on whether RFK gets the backing he needs, which is entirely possible.

I never beat Ocarina of Time. I bought it on both the N64 and the 3DS (hated the motion controls on the 3DS so I aborted that attempt right away).

Prince can take a beating, no question. Much larger objects can knock him around, but the only thing that will stop him entirely is the King of All Cosmos. It comes down to whether Donkey Kong can knock the Prince around long enough to where the King drags the Prince back from Earth for punishment.
