Played a bit of the first game, didn't care for it.

Was InFamous: Second Son any good? I'm almost tempted.

I never played more than a demo of the Spyro games. Maybe I'd pick this one up.

Platinum is just hellbent on making Bayonetta a thing, aren't they? I know the sales weren't great before. Have they improved?

Some years back, I discovered a lady at a bowling alley had given me $10 extra. I returned it, and she thanked me by letting me bowl for free during practice sessions.

I got killed by the third security guard in the game. I set off the alarm by trying to sneak up on the first security guard, but taking too long to do it. It really didn't make a positive impression on me (or on the DedSec members watching the fiasco, I'm sure).

Also not a fan of reading tutorials while I'm being actively hunted by security guards. I'm pretty sure that I've missed quite a lot because of the way this introduction was handled.

You need to capitalize the first letter in that sentence and add punctuation at the end.

I watch Rick and Morty, even though I'm not smart. One of the bits from one of the episodes was this (the video features some episode spoilers):



One of my many problems is that I don't always remember the chorus correctly. Instead, I get some other bit of music in its place. Worse, I'm not sure what the notes are that I misremember because I haven't worked with music like that in a long time.

Does this happen to any of the rest of you?

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Game 2 of the Ezio Collection. There's stuff to like, but there's also some bad mission design, some glitches, bad acting, and the writing isn't as good as I remembered it. Also some ear-splitting music that sound like what someone who's never heard an opera thinks an opera sounds like.

Still, it managed to keep me invested long enough to finish the game. I think I'll take a break from these games before going on to Revelations, which is the one game I never bothered to finish.

This week's PSN sale (not a flash sale) includes vanilla Watch Dogs 2 for $20. If I found the first game to be a mind-numbing chore, was the sequel improved enough where it's worth dropping $20?

I don't remember all of the monsters they list. Is there new content, or am I just senile?

One grandma was in the top 10 names on the SSA list, while the other one didn't crack the top 200. Doesn't matter, I miss them both.

I bought the digital version. I haven't played it since the PS2 version, when I realized that it was the game that proved that we needed more powerful hardware. (On the PS1, it was Driver 2 that gave me that realization. I never found a game like that on PS3.)

Mardi Gras seems the coolest but if you're not in New Orleans it's not really a holiday

We have a pretty sizable Polish population in Northeast Ohio, so there's a tradition up here. Mardi Gras is the day for paczkis, which are a lot like donuts except that they use (or are supposed to use) lard. They're tasty.

I feel so lost. The maps are so much busier, it's a lot to take in.

ALF and not Dinosaurs? They were both pretty big buzzkills.

Is it just me, or were the great jaggies harder to fight than the great jagrases are? The jaggies would sometimes throw in a series of hip checks, and those were a pain to dodge. By comparison, the jagras charges, swipes, and rolls a bit after it's eaten, but I haven't felt in any real danger with them (except when I got careless and let one smack me a few times).

I feel so insecure playing this. In the older games, I had somewhere to go and think about all of the stuff in my collection, and to make decisions on what to create. This early game, though, it's just pushing you all of the time.

Better Off Dead.

I've finished the first mission. The sudden inclusion of the rest of the world in my village has me concerned. I wanted to wait until I got a few things done and had a better feel for the switch axe (I've never used it in earlier games and I figured this would be as good a time as any to start).

It feels like Monster Hunter, but not. Maybe once I've played it for a few more hours?
