You also have the internet at your disposal so dont be afraid to look up how to start and end something or how to transition well. Also, peer editing goes a long way. Make sure to have several people read your writing. I recommend at least four to five different people. Expand your vocabulary. Slowly omit words such as get/got/a lot. Ask yourself if a word or sentence truly sounds good. Make an effort to change up sentence structure so that your writing isnt repetitive and make sure not to repeat the same words over and over again. I also recommend taking 10 minutes out of your day to read an article or some published college essay. Analyzing how those people write can give you a few ideas on what to do and what not to do. --- |

Some of these girls have gone as far as to stop hanging out with guys in general. They only spend time with or talk to girls and homosexual men. One girl in my English class asked me to peer edit her paper. I read the title and it was "Why It Pays to Have a Penis". As I read the paper, I was stunned. She made an argument about how men lead far better lives than women in this day and age. She used the wage gap, abortion, not having periods, dating, and other topics to support her argument. When I handed the paper back to her, I could only give her a thumbs up. There was another girl I would have conversations with almost every day. I consider her to be a good friend. A week ago, she went on a rant about how men only care about getting laid and whatnot. That all of us are terrible or some shit. Other guys called her out on that and she said that they were in denial about their true nature. After that, it seems like she wants nothing to do with me anymore. I don't understand. Why can't people realize that a few bad experiences doesn't represent the entire demographic? I think I'm finished. I'm just upset that being a guy has automatically ruined some of the few friendships I had.
