Really the issue is that QBs in general are ridiculously overpaid. I mean I get why they are but the notion of having to pay a mid level QB 27m a year for 5 years is crazy

Now I've had time to enter my stats into my sheet I see that O-line decline is real

2010 - 301 Blocks / 46 Sacks
2011 - 294 Blocks / 49 Sacks
2012 - 286 Blocks / 49 Sacks
2013 - 229 Blocks / 52 Sacks

Crept up on me because their OVR are actually the highest I've had across the 4 seasons

Also for as much as I lamented my offense being useless it looks like they could actually move the ball, they just couldn't keep hold of it. Don't know what my fumble counts were but I assume pretty even

2011 - 4899 Yards, 30 TDs, 13 INT (10 Wins)
2012 - 4672 Yards, 29 TDs, 16 INT (6 Wins)

I thought playing a less aggressive strat would lower turnovers but I guess it probably more affects your tendency to go for it / when to punt or FG rather than to play less risky throws?

Checking on a phone but at a glance it looks like my team actually performed a lot better than I expected. Seems the majority of my issues came from my o-line being really porous. My guards productivity fell off a fucking cliff, they blocked like half as much whilst allowing way more sacks.

Everyone else on my team looks to have done okayish. Will have to double check against previous seasons but defense look above previous years in stats (maybe from being on the field a lot) and my receivers actually did well instead of Chambers 1000+ yards and everyone else 100-200 (Throwing more certainly helps). Cutler didn't actually do that bad considering the o-line doing shit, 2000+ yards at about 58% and 16/15 split. Pretty good given he was benched for a fair few games and seemed to get knocked out of games a lot. May have pushed 3000 yards if he wasn't benched and didn't get knocked out so much

I'm sure is already been mentioned but bonemare nerf puts it into the free from amber pool too

I feel like Aaron Gordon is basically a younger Blake Griffin without the injuries. Not as talented yet but has age on his side

Oh also I fully expect my kicker to be omitted for kicker of the year. His percentage is high because I played a safe strategy and he didn't have to take long field goals. Or at least I can't remember seeing many (if any) 50+ yard field goals

This offseason is easily going to be the most interesting for me since being in the league. Due to squad depth and cap space, I've rarely had to start rookies or been able to snag people in FA.

Right now I'm projected to have about 17m cap space pre-retirements assuming cap remains same as last year. After retirements I might potentially have upwards of 53m in cap space. And I'm going to potentially have starting holes at QB, WR, RG, LG, C, DE, OLB, SS, P.

Some of the holes will be filled with current back-ups but I'm probably going to have to do more this offseason than my other 4 combined. I expect the season to go very badly given how much my team is getting gutted. However, it's likely more interesting watching some of my younger players develop rather than sit behind seasoned vets waiting for injuries to get playing time.

Will also be interesting to see if any of my elite players breakout statline wise once they are no longer surrounded by fellow highly rated players to share the stats. Alternatively they might just plummet in rating because the unit as a whole does a lot worse!

I fully expect to win, Bengals to lose and then still miss out on playoffs via tiebreaker thus tanking my draft stock to the maximum!

In the very likely scenario I miss the playoffs this season will be such a disappointment. Have a lot of high rated players in their final year (Potentially losing 8 starters rated 89+ plus an 87 P) and if i had made some very minor changes I could have probably snagged an extra 1-2 wins. Not replacing Jamario Thomas (my best offensive player) when he got injured was probably the worst mistake. Especially since that caused me to switch to a pass heavy approach using the leagues lowest rated starting QB.

I put up like 4800-4900 each of the last 2 seasons offensively. I think I'm probably at around the 3000-3400 this year.

Only played the tutorial quest so far and whilst the game is stunning, it feels like there is a lot of information to take in too quickly. Maybe it's just because I've never played a Monster Hunter game before.

Like there's so many weapons but no indication of the real differences between them or their strengths/weaknesses. And there's so much information/stats on each weapon without me knowing what any of it means. I would hope it gives more details as I play more.

I assume there's a knack to the combat beyond button mashing too because that's all I've been doing.

These were all things that were off putting in the beta too but I just figured it had dumped me quite far into the game in the beta and in the actual game it would ease me into it.

Want this bad as Blazblue is like my favorite series so I'm sure they did an awesome job of this but I just bought Monster Hunter World and fighter games (at least Arcsys ones) tend to drop in price a lot. Paying $64 for it feels bad

Can't wait for this season to be over so I can start rebuilding. The offseason break is gonna feel like an eternity.

Like sure you aren't going to get pushed back far each reset but getting up to above rank 10 wasn't that big a deal anyway

In fairness the penalty for playing Doomguard rarely matters as you either cheat it out or generally play it when you have the game in hand by playing Doomguard. So it's kinda overpowered in that regard

The problem with Gohan now isn't that he's a family man. It's that they no longer reference it as motivation. He's supposed to be super smart and care about his family yet didn't make any attempt to keep up his training even a little despite being the strongest person at the time. And he also no longer gets the rage/motivation boosts he used to by people he cares about being in danger when that used to be like his defining characteristic. Like I wouldn't care if they showed him still getting that and still coming up short but you have to actually show it

Gohan was a way more interesting character than Goku until post Cell games. They just completely fucked up his character since then and even though it sucks as a Gohan fan that's who he is now.

Especially bad when you consider how Future Gohan turned out

Well I mean he's easily farmable via those missions isn't he? I'm kinda in a loop right now where I can endlessly rank up by alternating 7 stamina Z Hard super strikes with lesser exp missions.

I have a ton of free stones to farm still too. I'm only up to chapter 10 normal and have only cleared the Z-hards to chapter 4. And have got virtually nothing from events. So I imagine I have literally hundreds of stones left to farm.

Is the STR Vegito you get from Baba good?

Are any of the dokkan events easier than the rest? I assume theoretically that the medals for SSR Androids are the easier Dokkans?

Dokkan Awakened SS2 STR Vegeta (whichever is from the current banner). I assume this is a good investment, he's my first collab awakened character as it seemed pretty easy to do? Or am I vastly overestimating the difficulty of dokkaning other characters as I seem to remember them kicking my ass when I tried when I played over a year ago

Not sure who else I should look to invest in now

Well on one hand it wasn't compatible with SS but on the other hand, Mystic/Ultimate Gohan would have got a huge boost from it

Unless you count the boards you only gain access to when you reach a certain karma level then we have to definitely be up there numbers wise

The Magics problem was that injuries piled up to the point where all our starting 5 plus our first round pick were out

Pushed the receiver out of bounds, that's an easy PI, had he not put his hands on the WR, it would have been uncatchable.

I'm probably wrong (or maybe it's a college rule only or something) but I thought the ball had to be catchable in order for it to be PI.

Is there like a list of SR's I should keep or what I should sell to Baba? I'm at full invent with a ton of SR's but have no idea if any are worth keeping or what I should trash.

Also I think I messed up by UR'ing some of my SSR's as I needed to keep them SSR for skill up purposes right? Or should I be using SSR dupes for something else?

Man, this game loves to give out SSR SSGSS AGL Goku. I've literally pulled him 3 times today on 3 separate pulls (1 returner pull, 2 multis) and he doesn't even seem that good? I already had the KK version of him that seems better?

The Gohan elimination wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad if they had just been consistent with Dyspo's strength from the beginning. Like if he had always been shown to be this strong it would look a hell of a lot better but they have had Dyspo look weak and incompetent at practically every turn. Now all of a sudden out of nowhere he's significantly stronger than what we've been shown until now purely to fit the narrative.

I was trying to run it through Taxact, I guess I could try TurboTax instead, I assumed they would be the same

So I feel like my W2 I received from my company is wrong.

My company changed our healthcare mid-year to a HSA system but also changed it so that healthcare was free rather than us contributing towards it. I thought no problem, all the money I was contributing towards the previous plan I would just put into the HSA.

Except now on my W2 all the money I put into the HSA is tagged as 'W' which says the employer put that money into the account for me which is not the case, I voluntarily put my money into it. So it counts as additional earnings and decreases my return. It looks like it decreases it by the amount I would have been taxed on if that was normal income which doesn't seem right for 2 reasons to me. HSA's are supposed to be Tax Free right otherwise why wouldn't I just dump it into savings instead? And that money isn't additional earnings as it is my own money, not extra money the company is giving me.

Or am I misunderstanding how HSA earnings are supposed to work? Like if that is working as intended, what is even the benefit of using a HSA instead of a savings account as it looks like I'm getting taxed on it both ways anyway and a savings account would at least have the benefit that I could spend it on other stuff if I needed/wanted to.
