Picked up my copy, but havent gotten to put the game in and play it yet. Is it gonna be like the Beta and have me select a Region and Lobby? Wondering if there would be connection issues trying to play people on the opposite side of the US and/or world

Is anybody else maining Yamcha for Story mode? Almost brought a tear to my eye when Krillin and Goku encouraged him to fight with them. It feels right maining Yamcha for this.

I really want to play as Yamcha, that sounds so awesome.

I'm gonna play through the story mode here, I'm just farming Zeni so I can buy the Lobby characters. So far my best purchases are a Golden Freeze and an SSJ3 goku. I also have a 17 skin that seems pretty rare.

Want this bad as Blazblue is like my favorite series so I'm sure they did an awesome job of this but I just bought Monster Hunter World and fighter games (at least Arcsys ones) tend to drop in price a lot. Paying $64 for it feels bad

Well, I've got this on PS4. Haven't done much besides tutorial, training, one Combo Challenge, and the easiest Arcade. Found out there's an offline lobby; thank God since I got kicked off during the tutorial.

I have now been reminded of how bullshit aksys ai can be combined with the ultra buffs so one of the ways to unlock the Blues is by getting A rank on the longer ones overall on hard mode?

Well as I mentioned on Discord, I had my order go undelivered because of a fuck up where it said my ordered got damaged.

But I'll see if any stores are carrying the Day 1 Edition tomorrow first.

Got the game! Tried doing some combo trials with a couple characters. I've been able to do the ones I tried, but I don't really understand the combo system in this game yet to know what does and doesn't link or what limitations there on moves in the air and such.

Still no clue who I am going to play as, so I guess I'll try some random matches tomorrow against the AI and see how certain characters go.

My friend is telling me all this cool stuff about the mechanics. I think this is a game that's got plenty of depth below the surface.

I'm definitely not a fighting god but I'm okay and the time I spent in training mode today definitely tells me this game has depth. It's great because there's the basic universal magic series that everyone of all skill levels can do, but there's a ton more there that gets very, very character specific.
