Kemba to the Knicks or Pistons makes the most sense for me. Adding him to the Cavs doesn't really put them over the top, but then again neither does getting DeAndre Jordan.

Contract/salary-wise, the Knicks seem to match up badly with the Hornets given what the latter is trying to achieve. It would require a third team.

The crazy thing is Love has been really good this year even though he has been forced into the Center role because TT cant do anything anymore

Oh the all star reserves were reported to be:

EAST:
John Wall
Kyle Lowry
Victor Oladipo
Bradley Beal
Kevin Love
Kristaps Porzingis
Al Horford

WEST:
Russell Westbrook
Damian Lillard
Klay Thompson
Jimmy Butler
Draymond Green
LaMarcus Aldridge
Karl Towns

Seems mostly correct, no CP3 but the injuries early on probably hurt him

how is he not a big man

Horford has been an intangibles guy his whole career. he just produces wins at every stop. he led Atlanta to 60 wins when they didn't really have much at all and he's the glue of that Boston team. I'd call him an all star ahead of Kyrie.

And the Pistons are likely worse with Horford considering Drummond's consistency is largely why they haven't fallen harder.

Boston's still likely a top 2 team thanks to Drummond's monster rebounding.

Horford's the better intangible guy.

Guarantee you if he was asked to be the best player on that Pistons team, who even with Drummond are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league, they're 10 games below .500 right now.

bradley has never been particularly efficient as a scorer. he doesn't shoot FTs and he can't really dribble or distribute. reggie jackson being out hurts him as much as it hurts anyone. he's generally improved marginally at shooting each year he's been in the league but his bread and butter shot is a curl 16- to 18-footer - which leaves him very vulnerable to streakiness

Win Shares per 48
Horford: .190 WS/48
Drummond: .201 WS/48

Wins Produced per 48
Horford: .250 WP48
Drummond: .401 WP48

Wins Produced:
Horford: 7.3
Drummond: 11.8

I don't use PER cause it's a junk stat and I'm sure Horford is better in certain individual stats like true shooting percentage, but overall Drummond has been better than Horford.

lol, horford's value comes from making others play better when he's on the court. and no stat does not depend on others' performance, especially for big men, who need to be fed the ball to do anything.

it's not a coincidence that horford's floor spacing is better for an offense than drummond getting points when people lob it to him.

Yes it literally does. It's initially derived and factors in standard plus/minus into a calculation, which by nature is a team based stat. This is a common criticism across the internet about RPM.

And unlike wins produced, none of the actual calculation is public (or not that I'm aware of). It's just ESPN desperate for their own NBA equivalent of WAR.

So like PER, it's a stat based on a fundamentally flawed premise.
