Yeah the default option is my real name though rather than my forum name so not really desirable.

Does anyone know if this uses up your one time name change if you still had it available? Reading the wording it sounds like it would (if I let it go to the default name, it will default to my actual real name which I don't want rather than staying at what I have now)

Entirely depends what they get back because they don't own their own picks for the next 5 years and they are all unprotected. But given the assets they have, they should be able to recoup enough to stay competitive or at the very least not be a lower lotto team.

I've seen people say they should just try get a ton of picks but that's absolutely not the way to go. They want proven players, and preferably ones that are tied up for a few years. Picks can be involved too but it can't be cash dump and picks, has to be viable starters and picks.

There's actually a chance they come out of this better a few years down the line if they get the right guys

I'm looking for games to play on my Steam Deck and I think I feel like playing something along the lines of a Roguelike / Management Simulation / Strategy. Ideally something turn-based. And I tend to like games that track stats (in-depth) and are like hero builders (or world builders than keep track of individuals which I guess Crusader Kings does?), especially if they have customization.

I recently picked up Wildermyth which may meet the criteria I'm looking for. But I also bought Stellaris and Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark too as they looked interesting. I really liked Darkest Dungeon and then games like Brigandine, FFT, Azure Dreams in the past.

I don't even get it from Clifford himself. He left the Magic because he didn't want to coach a rebuilding team. And now 1 season later he's gone to a team who is in a pretty similar position to the Magic.

I also got the message because apparently my account has 2 usernames and I have to select one. The default is the one I don't want so guess I'll have to use my name change. I had been sitting on it if I ever wanted to use it but now I guess I have to.

Have said for a while that I had the feeling that the Magic would move back. Now the betting line for Paolo (who apparently has not worked out for us) has moved to -180. It was +200 ish like 12 hours ago and at one point last week was as high as +2700.

Guessing the Rockets are super thirsty for Paolo and Magic are happy to move back and pick up whoever is left between Chet and Jabari.

Alternatively they are freeing up cap space

I had it in my head that it was always free but I guess I got it from playstation plus at some point maybe?

I haven't watched the anime in a long time but this has me interested since it seems like it may end up being the finale? I can't believe Leon is the one who is supposed to be the best though, his design is just awful.

Yeah, I voted Espeon at some point yesterday and it seemed too far back at that point to have a shot of overhauling Arcanine. Seems like it has propeller forward with a lot of votes with Arcanine having none since I voted. I'd be surprised if this wasn't stuffed.

Who the hell has over 12 GB of space on their phone to devote to a single app? I think my phone is 16 gb total.

I didn't even know this was still possible? My phone has 256GB storage and has a 512GB option. My previous two phones have had 256GB too and I typically upgrade my phone every 2-3 years. I know I had 256GB as far back as 2017 for sure (Galaxy S8).

I honestly thought like 256 was the standard on new phones for the last few years but maybe I've just been looking at a particular type of phone.

EDIT: Just checked and my phone from 2013 had 64GB and my phone from 2015 had 128GB.

If this is like other mobile games that do similar things, that really isn't what is happening here. It's unlocking additional purchase options based on progress rather than asking you to pay for your loot from that particular run. And lots of other mobile games do similar things.

Like in Epic 7 they will have triggers where certain packs unlock after reaching certain levels or like if you pull or promote a hero it will offer you the chance to buy materials to immediately make that hero better. Alternatively you can just grind out the materials instead.

Live in Florida. 95 any day of the week. It's 90 right now and doesn't even feel bad at all.

Sore throat, coughing, headaches, muscle and joint aches, shortness of breath, fever. I'd say dehydration too as I distinctly remember drinking a ton of water but rarely ever peeing. And it was weird because I wasn't sweating it out either.

First time I got it (June 2020) it was pretty bad for the first week, the muscle/joint pains were the worst pain I have experienced and I've previously had lung surgery where I was hooked up to a morphine drop for pain. I literally didn't want to move for 2-3 days and just curled myself into a ball on a camping bed in a spare room.

Second time I got it in Dec 2021 it just felt like a lesser flu for a couple of days. Didn't feel bad at all. Although the shortness of breath / coughing took like 6+ weeks to go away and was super frustrating as basically any time I spoke I'd have to cough after a few words.

Weirdly my wife got no symptoms the first time when I had it (she didn't tests so either didn't get it or was asymptomatic) but was super sick the second time when I had it for several weeks (we both tested positive, her test immediately went positive and a solid red like unlike mine which took like 5 mins for the faintest of lines). Vax wasn't available first time I got but by the second time we were double vaxxed.

This. I did it for like the first 6 months in my house before deciding it was better to just pay someone. I hated edging more than mowing but in Florida heat both are miserable

Man, someone just showed me some Fultz propaganda stats

Fultz was in the 2nd percentile for shot quality at the rim last season (i.e. He was taking almost the hardest shots in the league at the rim)

Despite this Fultz was:

92nd percentile at rim shot makes
96th percentile at contact finish rate
98th percentile in unassisted rim field goals made

He also ranked

99th percentile in assisted points per 75
100th percentile in valuable assists created per 75

(I had to look up what 'valuable assists' are classed as and it's basically dunks / wide open 3s are classed as most valuable)

He still doesn't have a 3 point shot but the metrics make it look like if he did, he'd project as all NBA. Granted sample size of the above is only like 20 games so small

Going to the Magic draft lotto party tonight and I really hope we don't get screwed again. The last time the Magic moved up in the lotto was 1993 (which was a massive move up).

In the 11 lottos we have been in since we have stayed static in 5 and dropped spots in 6. Granted one of those statics was winning the lotto with best odds (2004)

Don't need to win it, just get a top 3 pick ideally. I'm ok with our worst case scenario (6) but we are overdue some lotto luck.

Even when I'm supposed to play the Express, Madden overrules it and puts me against the Dolphins in the divisional instead (not that I'd have beat the Express either).

3-0 in playoffs versus non Dolphins teams (Ravens twice, Patriots)
0-4 in playoffs versus Dolphins (3 divisional, 1 WC round as home team)

Hopefully the gap between AI and users shrinks again next year so we don't end up with another all AI final (first time champion though at least!). Seems to be the direction the league is trending in at at least. I'm more hopeful of being a good team next season than I have been in quite a lot of years.

I'm also not a fan of past performances playing into awards even though I know they do. Like someone being a previous winner should be completely irrelevant. It's this regular season in isolation. There shouldn't be the narrative that it should be harder to win the second one than the first. You're either the MVP or you aren't, what you did in previous years should matter absolutely zero.

After next year, they will only have 98M in actual salary on the books. If they sign a bunch of 1 yr deals to fill out the roster next season, and renounce harden and the rests cap holds after, that would be more than enough cap space to go after someone substantial. Maybe not a max guy but someone who can contribute a lot, and that's not even factoring what if they manage to parley harris's expiring contract into some disgruntled star.

Once you have 2 max deals on the books, you don't really have cap flexibility. Only reason Warriors got it that Durant year was because the cap increased an unprecedented amount rather than being eased upwards like it should have been.

What they may (and probably should do) is try move Harris/Harden this year. Hope they can get better fitting pieces and hope Maxey continues to blossom before he's due to be paid.

You can't pay Harden that contract but they will. If they let him go it's not like they have that money available because of how the cap works. They are going to have to pay him and then eventually they will shuffle money around in a trade

Unless he opts in then they can try trade him next year

When I was a kid my puppy bit my ear and drew blood and I had to have it glued back together.

I also have a small scar from where my adult dog caught me playing with his teeth but it wasn't really a bite, more just like a nip / playful lunge and his teeth hit me with more force than he expected

I had a cat bite that left me in the hospital for almost three days!

Cat bites are typically a lot worse due to the infection factor. They tend to go deeper and are more prone to serious infection because it gets deeper in the wound. I work with a lot of cat rescues and I'd far rather get bit by a dog than a cat.

I actually have 2 and I'm still thinking over what to do with the second one when/if it arrives tomorrow.

FedEx said mine was delivered on Apr 30th but it was nowhere to be seen. I was also in my yard at the time it was supposedly scanned in as delivered at my door and never saw FedEx come. I put in a support ticket about it and they said they would investigate. After a week of waiting they tell me they are sending another one. That shipped on Tuesday. Yesterday the initial one shows up on my door 11 days after the scan says it was delivered.

So not sure if I send one back or just say nothing.

Ah yeah forgot about that stipulation. So basically can just mess with towns NL assumptions then.

Trying to think if that's sellable as a town power as a scum gambit since town wouldn't know it doesn't work on scum.

That king disallowance seems strong as you approach endgame. That's instawin under LyLo depending on numbers/previous king and could have potentially messed with towns assumption they could just NL to work things out
