Completely dependent on the weather and/or how bad my allergies are.

If it's nice outside I actually enjoy it.

I don't have a lawn now, but growing up I hated doing it in the summer (which is like 8 months of the year in Phoenix) and when my allergies were acting up, so pretty much the whole year. But in theory I don't hate the activity of mowing the lawn in the conditions outside aren't bad

Mowing the lawn is definitely the best chore so No

It's a bit boring and takes longer than I'd like (big yard), but no I don't really mind it. I just think of it as free exercise since it's something that's gotta get done anyway.

shoveling snow and mowing the lawn is basically the same chore weird ass

If I ever get my own place (lol) I am uprooting all grass on my property out of pure spite.

I think it depends entirely on the type of mower I'm using

Gas mower? The job is easy, feels good to do, and I can sing as loud as I want and no one can hear me. Best chore

Crappy electric mower that runs out of power halfway through, and sputters if the grass is too thick or wet? Ugh

Actual push mower? Hell no

What I like so much about mowing is how concrete the criteria for completion is. You drive the mower over the entire lawn and you're done. It's not like scrubbing down a bathroom, where you might have to go over the same spot twice

This. I did it for like the first 6 months in my house before deciding it was better to just pay someone. I hated edging more than mowing but in Florida heat both are miserable

I don't hate it but someone else mows my lawn so I don't have to worry about it.

I do but only because of how big it is. Otherwise I'd do it myself. I pay someone to do it now.

I would need a Lawn first

Yup. It's one of my least favorite things. Even the smell of fresh cut grass triggers me and puts me in a bad mood lol

I haven't mowed a lawn in over a decade, since my parents moved into a condo. I've had my own apartment for three and a half years now too so I don't mow the lawn here either. That may change if I ever buy a house, but I would never do so as long as I live by myself.

Perhaps that's why I enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass. I don't associate it with brutal, sweaty labor anymore.

I hate when my neighbors mow their lawns because they take significantly longer than necessary in sculpting it, putting that grid pattern into it, and using a roaring behemoth of a zero-turn mower to do it. And they mow twice or even three times a week.

I don't really mind mowing my own lawn. I also leave patches of wildflowers alone if I can, especially in the spring.

lawn tractor makes it more like a hobby or an hour long vacation. Its the best.

When its nice and breezy I dont mind it as podcast time, but if its hot, sticky, and Im getting eaten by mosquitoes, then its hell.

If it was a real lawn in a place where they're supposed to grow maybe I'd like it, but it's just this ratty-ass grass that somehow grows despite never being watered. This is in Tucson, where it also doesn't rain much either. This grass shouldn't exist, and given the way it grows it's really just a weed,
