They did beat golden state in 3 of the 4 meetings this year although I don't know what the circumstances were in those games like which players were out and which weren't

how many people does gsw have to throw at luka? like two? wiggins and (gulp) draymond? i'm still on team klay-is-cooked, and steph is actually good but stands no chance

you really cant stop luka. i believe they will keep Wiggins defending Luka one on one for most of the game (perhaps draymond at the end of the game) and focus most of their efforts on denying the mavs role players and secondary stars from getting going.

unless you only score 27 points in the first half as a team luka cant beat you by himself. If Brunson, dinwiddie, kleber, etc. arent hitting shots Dallas cant win, and GSW definitely have the team / help defense to deny those types of players. But well see what Luka can do to pick apart that defense over the course of the series. Wouldnt be surprised to see them drop the first two games again before the Mavs can make some adjustments to get the other guys going

well ideally you want wiggins going at luka one on one for sure. issue is that they'll definitely get screeners involved. switching steph or klay onto luka feels suicidal.

I am with changmas that taking the others out of the equation is the way to beat dallas. Just put someone on luka who will make him work, that's all you need, even if he gets his.

We saw it in the first few games, if you tire him out by making him work on offense he becomes a sieve on defense. Then you can get all those points back.

Heat/Celtics is going to be a bloodbath and I am here for it

Going to the Magic draft lotto party tonight and I really hope we don't get screwed again. The last time the Magic moved up in the lotto was 1993 (which was a massive move up).

In the 11 lottos we have been in since we have stayed static in 5 and dropped spots in 6. Granted one of those statics was winning the lotto with best odds (2004)
