What plan? Post anything that says a vaccine will be available to the public in December. Fauci saying we could know if the vaccine is safe in December isn't the same thing as the vaccine will be out in December. Post anything from anyone credible or not that is saying a vaccine is most likely going to be readily available to the public this December.

Guess what happens when you work out? You breathe heavy. Want to know what comes out of your mouth when you breathe? Vapor. You are ignoring the fact that the percentage of tests for the US coming back positive it still much higher. Look at "The share of COVID-19 tests that are positive, Jul 13, 2020" image, that's focusing not on the amount of positives about the rate of positives. The US is in the pinkish red while most of Europe is in blue, some even in the dark blue. Positive rates aren't going to change that much regardless of tests done, you can say the overall number of positives is high because we have more testing done, but we also have a much higher positive rate which shows this isn't just because of testing.

Florida still has the highest number of active cases. Them being incompetent on top of that doesn't help them at all.

It's funny seeing rednecks drive around with American flags behind their pick up trucks, they're oblivious to the fact that America right now is a laughing stock. They're too "fuck yeah America number 1" to realize every other country like us didn't just handle it better, they did 100% better.

Also it's important to remember none of this is Trump's fault. Personal responsibility and what not, the leader of the country fucking up on day one and never stopped fucking up played no part in this.

Plus large chunks of California are red, so this slant isn't going to fly just because it is technically blue. The blue parts tend to be the cities, and those are densely populated which means they're fucked with this virus until it passes.

The US opened up when it was barely going down the slope. They flattened it, but they had zero patience and opened up too soon. Other countries that opened up didn't open up right when they flattened it, they waited until they had several weeks of everything either holding steady or going down. That's the difference.

Considering you are horny to deflect all blame off of Trump, it's funny that you mention only the country run by him is the one that fucked up. Like maybe he shouldn't have been screaming for states to be liberated? You know, actively trying to get people to revolt against the safety measures which by definition means he deserves blame?

The response to it is quite obviously an attempt to get Trump out of office. Think way back to January, when Trump was rolling high for two reasons: a strong economy, and strong African American support. Where are we now? Covid was the attempt to tank the economy, BLM is the attempt to tank African American support for the president. I mean, it's not terribly difficult to see.

It will go on until it disappears or there is a vaccine, period. That doesn't mean it will be like this the entire time, you just need to get it under control and have the tools in place to fight it should it come back. We have seen that this is possible with New York. New York isn't shut down, the entire state is open up to varying degrees with most being in phase 4 of 5, even NYC is doing well. That doesn't mean the pandemic is over for NY. That's what we need the entire country to do, fight back and get it down, then keep it down. It will still be a pandemic, but people will be able to live semi normal lives.

Schools should open up, but we should get the virus under control like Europe did before doing so. It's that simple. Doing so in this current climate is stupid, plain and simple. Why should these people social distance if their leader is having multiple event without social distancing? Not only did they not have social distancing, he removed signs warning them to social distance. If you can't acknowledge that Trump made this problem worse then you have your head too far up his butt to see it.

The thing is kids aren't perfectly safe from it. Yeah most will be alright, but some will come down with MIS-C.

Even if kids were invincible, you are talking about class rooms that involve kids from 20 different families. One kid shows up sick, they spread it to everyone else and then they go home from school and give it to their families who then unknowingly give it to whoever they come in contact with.

Also buses aren't for one individual class. One sick kid on a bus could end up infecting the entire school if the virus spread fast enough.

This is where Trumpers defend this even though he is one of the most qualified people in the nation and has been around since the Reagan administration. It's quite clear what Trump wants, he wants us and himself to be told that things are going well and it will go away. He doesn't want to hear the truth, he only wants to hear about flowers and puppies and rainbows. Fucking disgrace. And sadly his followers will back him on this and demand Fauci be fired. Because the one thing you don't want in an uncontrolled pandemic is to hear the truth and what we need to right the ship.

Even if you accept that kids will be fine, something that sadly isn't a guarantee, schools opening would make the spread that much worse. How many house holds do you think a single class has, about 20? Even if you cut it down, it takes one kid coming in with the virus to give it to all the kids in the class room and the teacher, then they go back home and they give it to their family. It's a virus, we've known for who knows how long that this is how it works.

Then you have to mention school buses, aka rolling petri dishes. Even with masks, it's impossible to social distance on those things. One infected kid could spread in that kind of confined space.

I get wanting to open up schools, but until it's under control I just don't see why anyone scream to the heavens to get it done. It's just not logistically possible at this moment in time. If you are hell bent on opening up school in the fall, well then we need to act now and get it under control before then. Maybe instead of blaming democrats we work to try and get to the point where school is possible? But nah, that's something a leader would do, it's easier to do nothing and scream about the democrats.

It could be a mutation but mostly it's just that people are more proactive about getting tested and treatment has gotten a lot better. "Living with it" was the inevitable outcome all along until we can get a vaccine and I knew this even back in April. Of course it shouldn't surprise me that some people are shocked at common sense.

Except them saying live with it is a slap in the face considering they have yet to give out a clear message of how we do so. We just had a president have thousands of people close together with masks optional and zero social distancing, how can they say live with it if they say that is acceptable? Trump needs to be a fucking man and lead, send a clear message to his country on what is asked of them. As long as he doesn't do this, his followers have zero reasons to live with it responsibly, their living with it is lol its no big deal no masks because masks are communism.

How is it they are just doing this now? This should have happened before we opened up. Things were cooled down a little because of the shut down, the talk about living with it needed to happen then. Maybe if Trump and his cronies gave a clear message on social distancing and masks then maybe things would be better now? Maybe if Trump encouraged his followers then, we wouldn't have old white fat people screaming about masks being communism. Hell Trump could have discreetly made a buck off of them by selling MAGA masks. This isn't going away just because we want it to, even in countries that have it under control there is still and effort to keep things safe. Europe isn't back to normal, they've opened up but they're taking the right measures to go along with opening up. Maybe if we had real leadership, someone with a concise message we wouldn't be caught with our pants around our ankles for the second time in 6 months.

Think about it. Imagine where we would be if he led by example and encouraged safe practices. The left would listen to the science and the right would listen to their idol. Instead he ignored the safety measures and let the governors handle it so he can go golfing, and now the crazy people on the right side are now convinced Trump is only saying they need to wear masks because he was forced to, which means they won't do it now even with him saying they should.
