People keep bringing up the stuff they say when they admit it is possibly worst case scenario, not the most likely scenario. That said look at how America is dealing with it, it wouldn't shock me in the least at this point. You can't flip the bird to the virus and then expect to contain and control it. Anyone crying about the CDC saying this is a possibility need to put their anger towards the assholes who refuse to do what is neccassary. Cry about bad news doesn't change the situation that makes that bad news a possibility. Grow up, you're suppose to be adults, go find your safe space if this scary possibility is too much for you to handle. Want to avoid this? Do your part and encourage your friends and family to do theirs.

Our economy is gonna collapse if this is even remotely true.

Business can not function in the new normal where everybody's either unemployed and don't have the money to spend or simply scared stiff to go out for any length of time to spend money on consumer luxuries.

I can't imagine what Xmas 2020 is gonna be like, but it will probably be pretty bleak for retail.

Only thing that might brighten the prospects is if another round of stimulus money comes through to put money in people's pockets.

phase 3 doesnt mean no mask mandate, still distancing etc....just means can eat indoors/bars now with more people allowed to gather. Masks will be mandated for a very long time
