I would argue that the general public is NOT smart enough to do the right thing, though. If this pandemic has proved anything to me, its that about half the country is STUPID as fuck.

I lived in a city with this badass venue/stage built into the side of a river though, where on summer nights theyd have concerts and you could sit in a tube in the river and watch

I think everyone knows by now it's a real problem and not a hoax. Where's the personal accountability? It's just sad blaming Trump at this point and shows a complete lack of personal responsibility.

Like seriously, can they sue the governor yet? He didn't follow the federal guidelines for reopening, much less his own. He opened Texas way too early to please Trump, who will never pay attention to him, and only now is he starting to worry about closing the state down again.

Trump and his staff know how to mitigate viral transmission. It's why Trump likely does not have COVID. He's been seen wearing a mask.

Meanwhile he's politicizing them and now 130K Americans are dead. He's an evil piece of shit trying to get us killed.

The leader of this country with loyal sheep is just now encouraging mask use, and that's all he is encouraging. Why should these people social distance if their leader is having multiple event without social distancing? Not only did they not have social distancing, he removed signs warning them to social distance.
