Well I mean, DToast is just an employee. Im not sure why people cant seem to grasp this. Its almost para social in a way.

Meaning, folks want something to yell and scream at something so badly that they keep on giving executive traits to DToast that he doesnt even have.

Its all really just being done so that disgruntled users have a collective outlet by which to direct their rage at.

In that regard, I could understand DToast not wanting a bunch of users that fall under his management to go on and be insulting his employer. It just looks really bad, and the blowback (whatever that might be) may actually end up unjustifiably falling onto him.

I mean quite obviously its not his fault that a bunch of users are being very vocal in their displeasure of Fandom, but at the same time it is a very logical assumption that his higher ups are eventually going to ask him please get you all to stop.

Its better to give legitimate constructive criticism/feedback. Voice your complaints, but in a way that doesnt get DToast pulling his hair in frustration.

If the cheapest and simplest of the Simple Weapons were as effective as they should be it'd throw off weapon damage progression.

Guns, even though they should be the alpha weapons without question they always end up weak as shit in most fantasy games.

Spears aren't really designed for one-on-one ground combat, they're to combat cavalry. Tho every weapon in a game should be viable in some way

It was my mistake thinking we could have actual discussion on CE rather than a bunch of reactionary gotcha addicts that twist everything to try to rack them up.

I was just going off what was said about the developers and what they wanted the Legion to be. The faction was created to make you recoil but also make you question whether their methods worked in the Wasteland. There is NPC dialogue and lore that blatantly makes you question such things and it's meant to.

Their lands are safe from raiders and other typical wasteland threats but at what cost? That is the main question.

I have this to say about it: this guy is emblematic of a genre of freak that has spawned out of the tech industry in the past decade or two. In exchange for their prominent positions in the economy, they have produced nothing of value and many things that are actively harmful. They seek to remake the world to prevent people from noticing their lack of clothes.

The bigger takeaway in this is that a lot of that wealth the top millennials have, was probably not earned by them, it's inherited - or their parents position and influence allowed them to get ahead where others weren't so lucky.

I'm sympathetic towards Jewish students who are offended or made to feel unsafe by some of the rhetoric being spewed by some of these protesters, but that feels like a pretext for the disproportionate response we've seen from law enforcement. If antisemitic rhetoric is really a justification for this sort of response, why did police do nothing when literal Nazis were marching in Charlottesville chanting "blood and soil" and "Jews will not replace us"?
