So, the villain for this piece would be Mark Zuckerberg; 3.I dont really agree with some of Sorkins general premise here. I mean-Facebook and related platforms have played a big role in spreading GOP/MAGA BS far and wide. But the GOP laid the foundation for their dumb cult just fine with Rush Limbaugh and Fox News before the internet was even really a thing. In other words: Facebook et. al has definitely not helped the situation. But the GOP is ultimately the most responsible for this BS, and has and will spread it with or without Mark Zuckerberg.
