So I'm a little bit into Punk Hazard and a Luffy mentioned that both Sanji and Zoro can use Haki now, but I don't remember that being established before. I know Sanji can use Moonwalk but I don't remember either of them using Haki.

Was I just drunk during the last arc?

I want to watch the movies, but idk when in like, the timeline each of them is. Do I need to worry about show spoilers when watching them?

From what I understand, the movies should take place like this:
Strong World: after Thriller Bark
Z: after Fishman Island
Gold: after episode 750
Stampede: after episode 877
Red: after episode 1030

The only spoilers should probably just be whether or not you've watched up to that point. Like watching Strong World before Thriller Bark would spoil Brook's existence, but that's about it.

I remember watching one of the movies in theaters with a bunch of friends years ago before I really knew anything about One Piece -- I think it was Stampede? Even though I had no context for what was going on, I remember thinking, "Oh, One Piece might actually be really good." I remember liking it a lot.

For my actual watchthrough, I'm hitting the movies when the wiki says they should take place, so I've only seen Strong World thus far, and it was enjoyable enough. It was just a standard shonen filler movie, though.

Finally finished Fishman Island. Man, was that a chore to get through.

Gonna watch movie Gold tomorrow, then continue on with the next arc.

Nah, Luffy's always had a strong morale compass and personality that separates him from being "square."

He has a super selfless type of selfishness that compels him to help people and stick up for the oppressed. Unlike other shonen protags, I would trust Luffy with my life if the situation arose.

Getting through these post-Marineford episodes is awful.

The flashback arc dragged on for so long, and now it's been like 4 episodes of people just reading the mail and getting Luffy's message.

I think the previous batch was in October, yeah? So that was a two month gap before the Impel Down season dropped this month.

I'm thinking about switching over to Hulu since they have way more episodes, but Hulu doesn't have the "skip intro/recap" feature that Netflix does, which is going to make things a bit more obnoxious...

Going through Impel Down and just got to Bon Clay waking up in Iva's club. Can't believe One Piece went woke smh, only in 2023.

Wonder how the live-action is going to handle that (if it even gets to it in 10 years).

Halfway through Thriller Bark and yeah Sanji just continuously manages to be the worst protagonist. His dream of getting the invisibility devil fruit so to peep on naked women? Come on, dude. First of all, your dream is the All Blue.

If they removed the entirety of his simp/pervert gag, he'd skyrocket to one of the coolest characters, but this schtick drags him down and makes him insufferable.

It's not part of the main MCU universe, but it's part of the multiverse like every other Marvel movie.

Miles is going to end up having one of the best superhero trilogies of all time.

Feels like every MCU thing since Multiverse of Madness has had to do a bunch of reshoots that basically rewrite half the movie, and they all come out feeling like a jumbled mess that barely tells a coherent story. They just aren't planning these things out.

The lack of direction or care they've been putting into post-Endgame projects is staggering. They're literally just pumping out braindead content for the sake of it, then had SheHulk make of it, then continued to just keep fuckin doing it.
