OK, was anyone else bothered when Mikasa was kissing Eren after she cut of his head? I know that was suppose to be a special moment but that shit creeped me the fuck out. Instead of feeling sad about the situation my reaction was, Woah! Woah! Woah! What the fuck is this?! Shit was super weird and made me cringe. Kissing the head, that cut off, of a dead man was wild as fuck to me.

would it be different if she kissed first before cutting his head off

maybe the cut came first just to avoid some random tentacles that got armin

Mikasa's affection for Eren is a borderline mental disability, so I was not surprised or disgusted by it tbh.

Honestly yea it would IMO. You are confirming your love for him before doing what you have to do. It isnt as bad IMO. I think if we did that would have changed things for the worse though so I guess it was the right thing. It just felt really fucking weird to me is all

That's more than enough time for an outside force to interfere, which could genuinely mean more mass extinction at this point. For anime, it's a very pragmatic universe, they can't take the chance, not when she genuinely may be the last person who is able to take him down.

It was def weird, but Mikasa is a weird person. So it felt appropriate.

This. I was taken taken aback by it but I also understood it since she never really got to express her affection for him physically. Also, given all the grotesque human suffering and harm over the show, that probably didn't bother her much.
