It's because your appearance is defined by your heart. Even though Roxas was Sora's body, Sora's heart wasn't inside of it -- Ven's was. So it shifted his body to resemble Ven.

The thing with KH isn't that it's complicated, it's that it keeps changing its rules for how stuff works every other game.

You're almost de-incentivized to even bother trying to figure out why what just happened even happened cuz you figure whatever explanation you get isn't going to be the explanation they stick with the next game that talks about it.

I mean, look at the main villain and try to figure out how his characterization, motives, and even personal timeline actually make sense between all the games.

tbf, my favorite FFs are 6 and 10, which are both basically turn-based.

That said, FF16's combat was fun. Just needed a bit more going on.

If you want a "correct" localization, it would be Sparksqueak.

I never hated Tracey, but Brock is iconic as shit. I don't think anyone cared about his eyes, and he was always one of the most liked characters.

Yeah, I recently started watching it as well due to the live-action hooking me, and I'm about halfway through Water Seven as well. It's been really fun, though the humor kind of annoys me at times.

Vowels in Japanese are very basic. Trying to do Scandinavian words in Japanese is just asking for trouble.

Yeah, that's fair.

Sounds like /hazu might've been a closer approximation to get the sound, since "ha" in Japanese would be more like "huh" in English. But it seems impossible to get the exact sound either way.

I hope they don't make a habit of it, though. The Gamora thing probably only happened because Gunn always had a vision for what he wanted in GotG3 and worked with the IW/EG dudes to keep the character around in some way.

What brought upon my curiosity is because I noticed a character in a JRPG named Hr had their name written out as /hezu in Japanese, and that made me do a double-take.

I know the is pronounced more like a "th," which would be rendered in Japanese as a /zu because S- and Z- sounds are commonly used to represent "th" sounds. But the being represented by an "eh" sound in Japanese is what's tripping me up.

Whats so bad about Antman?

The dialogue. The overuse of CGI. The phoned in performances. Michael Douglass looking super uncomfortable with all the pure green-screen acting. The lack of development for the main characters. The lack of consequences + back-to-status-quo ending. The fact Kang's first true introduction has him losing to fuckin' Scott Lang. Pretty much everything with Modok. Everything with Bill Murray. Half of Janet's screentime being her saying "I can't explain the plot yet, guys!" Wasting William Jackson Harper.

It's just really bad. Not as bad as Thor 4, but still super exhausting to get through.
