I was really worried the ending would ruin the whole thing for me based on how manga readers talked about it, so I'm glad that wasn't the case.

I wasn't nuts about 8. I didn't hate it, but it was incredibly shortI'm not a big Resident Evil guy, but I was actually surprised at how long 8 actually was. Strangers of Paradise.Jack hard carries that team. Considering the pronunciation in the Japanese version is "ketto shi" - which is close to the Gaelic - it does seem like a huge oversight on the localization team's part.It's not even an oversight, but a deliberate choice. Like, there's no way the team didn't know what the original Japanese pronunciation is, esp since they'd have to be communicating with the Japanese side of things at every step. They just chose to change it on purpose, probably because they figured it's what most English speaking fans already called him. Which is stupid, but understandable in a way. This isn't the first time a dub has changed a character's name, even amongst Square games.
