Id argue some of the later seasons of Stranger Things were better than the original season.

Season 4 was really good, but I still think that the show would've been better off as a one-and-done hit.

Without the mystery and tension that the first season had, I don't think a lot of the later seasons really work that well, cuz you kinda know what's going on now.

Yeah, I agree with everyone's takes on the game.

The story was good, but the reason I hated the last act or so was just because almost everyone besides Clive ended up sidelined, even Jill and Torgal, and they started killing off the main boy trio back-to-back for no real reason. Like they thought that they needed deaths for people to find it "mature," or something. Leaving out Leviathan felt like a massive intentional plot hole to make Clive end up dying. And it felt like there was just no closure on anyone else that we spent the entire game getting to know. The entire thing just made me go, "No way that's it..."

But yeah, the combat is fun, but it takes a while to get there. I know people complained about the "no elemental weaknesses" thing and other missing staple RPG elements, but I never found it a big deal. And it makes sense since you're only doing fire-type damage for a good chunk of the early game, so having elemental weaknesses wouldn't have felt required.

The maps were nice, and it's the prettiest any FF game has ever looked I'd say (until the ugly pink sky ruined the lighting completely), the voice acting was great, scene direction was great, and the boss fights were mostly fantastic. But those other parts make sure it's just a solid 7/10.

No. I thought FF7R was going to be a straight up remake. I had never played any FF games and was looking to enjoy the legendary FF7 in a modern package, but was was disappointed to hear the story had been changed from the original plot (not just drawn out) after already purchasing the game.

biggest bummer ever, didn't finish and no longer have any interest in the rest of 7 remake.

Also, this is my initial opinion too.

Was looking super forward to FF7R to experience the story, but learning it was just a chopped up pseudo-sequel trilogy instead made me lose all interest. Promoting it as an actual remake was a dick move.

But now that I've played the original FF7 and know the real story, I feel like I'm qualified to delve into this new fanfic version of the story.

From what I remember like 3 or 4 days.

When I got covid bad I laid in bed and barely did anything for days on end, let alone bathing.

Now that I've played OG FF7 and Crisis Core, I'll definitely be getting Rebirth at some point.

Gonna have to play Remake first, though. And maybe watch Advent Children.

Before watching the movie for the first time last year, I thought people were just being really weird by posting those gifs out of context, but...no, the movie is just actually that fucking horny.

Just finished watching it, and yeah, it's pretty solid. Not one of the best MCU movies, but still fun, and better than most of the slop that they've been churning out recently. I'd say it's a solid B-.

Seems they addressed the "Brie Larson is too emotionless" critique the first movie had by giving her a wider ranger of emotions and reactions to things, which was nice. She was fun to watch in this. And Kamala's actor looked like she was having the time of her life.

Can't for the life of me remember the villain's name, but her motivation wasn't...awful. I couldn't really follow her plan, or how the bangles and jump-point stuff worked at times, but it is what it is. The fight scenes were really creative.

Instead of a busty blonde in a hot outfit, they gave us a flat blonde (with a shitty haircut) in a boring outfit. Brie Larson looks like a cosplayer, not a superhero.

Not only is this really misogynistic and a weird way to view a character, but it's also just flat out wrong. Brie Larson isn't flat, and she looked great in this movie with that hair style.

The boosters making things quicker is a godsend for when you only have X amount of hours a day between work and other things to play games. If I had to run around 7's or 9's world and fight at the regular speed, I probably would've given up pretty early on.

Played 6 and loved it and now I'm playing 4.

Just finished playing 9 and 7 as well. Thought they were both great. Though the boosters really helped lol

Why they felt the need to replace Mandy with her is beyond me, Mandy did a fine job in KH1.

Prob cost too much. KH2 had like double the cast of KH1 and also included Chris Lee.

They didn't even get her back for Rapunzel in KH3.

Take a look at Mads Mikkelsen in Death Stranding and you'll figure it out.

This is the sequel to Remake. It's a trilogy.

Remake only covered Midgar. This one will probably cover to the end of disc 1.

Nothing really important in KH1 happens outside of the KH original worlds, like nearly all KH games. Its gameplay has also aged like milk

I mean, a lot of Riku's arc takes place in the Disney worlds, and the story revolves around the princesses. That's already much more than any other games' Disney worlds have to offer.
