How long is the game? I'm thinking of getting it since Zodiac Age is on sale for 15-20 bucks, and I kinda wanna fill the time until Paper Mario gets here

My PS5 says I have 51 hours clocked in, but that's doing some extra stuff and being afk a bit.

So prob like 40ish hours for just the story, if you're using the 2x speed feature like I was for traversing and fighting.

It's pretty good. Solid B. Story is whatever.

Though part of it depends on how much you love tedious grindy stuff, cuz the License Board kinda requires you do.

Also, make sure you're always playing at 2x speed. The devs should be arrested for thinking the regular running speed was alright for the size of the areas the game has.

really just dumb decision after dumb decision. it's no surprise they're riding high on milking the absolute hell out of ff7, everything else they've done recently is pretty much just shit.

FF16 was fine. Neo Twewy was good, but niche and they didn't market it at all. And FF14 will always do numbers.

But yeah, it does seem like they're still trying to make up for 15's mistakes, and FF7 is the easiest way to farm sales.

It's good, but I've never been able to get through it. Tried twice now.

Maybe I just have an issue with handhelds.

Going from 15's (and by extension Vs13's) trailers to the actual 15 was such a sucker punch.

It really felt like they put all their attention into cool trailers and premature spinoff material and forgot to actually work on the game itself.

(Also, I enjoyed when Noctis went to bed at one point and his dream was just a fully copy-pasted trailer that didn't even foreshadow anything, and then was never brought up again.)

Isn't under 5 hours the typical length for story driven dlc?

I'm a "whenever I feel dirty" shower person.

If I have time in the morning before work, then I'll have one then. If I wait until after work when I'm sweaty to have one, then I'll do it then instead.

Like, if you just like Aeris over Aerith and prefer calling her that -- due to nostalgia or otherwise -- then whatever. But trying to peddle it as the correct one while knowing you're 100% in the wrong just seems like an exhausting hill to rot on.

They've been using Aerith for like 30 years. I don't think they're the ones who need to let things go.

I knew Kurama wasn't actually gone the moment I was told about whatever the fuck happened to him in Boruto.

She not only calls her the correct name Aerith, but she also pronounces Cait Sith the correct "ket shee."

16's sidequests would've been better if they weren't written like 14's sidequests. Overly wordy, drawn out fetch quests make sense for a MMO, but not a 1player action game.

Like, I wouldn't say any of them were awful, but I mostly just enjoyed how much I felt at home doing them as a FF14 player.

These are all just QoL features and balancing adjustments based on feedback + fun extras. The game was complete day 1.

This isn't necessarily a Square-specific problem, since games in general are becoming more expensive and time-consuming to make since everyone's trying to make the graphics look as realistic as possible and such, but...

...do you think this is going to affect how Square approaches the alleged FF9 remake they're cooking up? Like, go for a more stylized graphic/art style and not go for a big full-scope open world-type deal the 7R series went for. I feel like most people don't want 7R's style for 9 anyway, and I can't imagine a 9 remake making back its money either if they did.

PSP for Birth by Sleep.

It was alright, but always felt really forced or unnecessary. Maybe more bearable than Family Guy at times, but obv nowhere near as good as something like American Dad.

I paid for the Disney/Hulu bundle. You're saying I need to pay Hulu separately as well?

For example, I was watching One Piece on Hulu, but I don't see it on Disney+ at all.

I keep seeing posts about how poorly it's doing compared to Remake/16/15/etc, but like...aren't its sales still good considering the climate of gaming these days?

Like, I feel like most PS5 exclusive games are bound to sell worse than games on PS4, or games that come out on multiple consoles, right? PS5 games are more expensive, and not as many people even have the console, for one.

I never understood people who use sales like this to quantify whether a game is good or not.

It's the "Disney Bundle Duo Premium" plan I'm trying to get. And if you select it on Disney+, it will link you to Hulu. But then Hulu's site says, "This plan is not currently available for purchase via Hulu."

Like, I went to D+ to sign up, but it's only offering its normal deals and bundles on its own site, and if you click on getting the D+/Hulu deal it redirects you to Hulu. But I don't have an active Hulu account, so I'm not seeing what to do.

Feel like I'm missing something obvious.

There's a lot more racists and people who don't understand satire -- and humor in general -- that have access to the internet these days, so it probably won't do as well.

Which is ironic, because it's somehow extremely topical and relevant to this day.

A JoJo series where they're actually allowed to play the songs that the Stands' or characters' names are based off of might go kinda hard.

Hocus Pocus 2 was fun.

It didn't reinvent the wheel or anything, and the first movie is still probably better, but sometimes a movie simply being fun is fine.
