The undeveloped ones that were basically stone-age tech when Europeans showed up hadn't changed for thousands of years and weren't going to anytime soon, if ever. In a great irony, the Nazis, for all their faults, actually were the first Europeans to be environmentally conscious. They preserved undeveloped areas and planted trees and stuff, I am pretty sure. They also planned to make vegetarianism law after the war. I say we repurpose the term soyboy for Nazis. |

Nintendo's only major goofs were Wii and Wii U, which are compounded by the fact their audience was casuals and old people that probably couldn't understand there was a difference. Only the original Xbox has a reasonable name. 360 was dumb. One was dumb. This new one is dumb. |

The core of communism is that the means of production must not be privately held. So the factory belongs to the state or the workers of the factory, depending. Not some rich guy. There are lots of nuances (I.E: will the state be a dictatorship or a democracy?). Socialism is such a broad term. It includes extremes like the USSR all the way to stuff like a teachers' union, universal health care, or welfare. |

I saw some analysis (normally I roll my eyes at them done from afar) that made a really good case for it. What mainly convinced me is that it wasn't some psychiatrist shitting on him and looking really biased. His point was basically along the lines of "look at how Trump used to come across while speaking to now. Whether or not you liked what he was saying, he was at least well-spoken and eloquent much of the time." And yeah, it's kinda true. Watch old stuff of him from say 20-30 years ago, and he's got some issues. He's always been a narcissist, but this other stuff is beyond "he's just getting old" because he isn't that old. I think it's just harder to tell because he's dumb and a jerk. |
