Again, these are strictly rumors.

There is another rumor that Disney had multiple test screenings of Rise of Skywalker with different endings and the response they got was so poor they had to do even more reshoots less then a few months from release, which is where I guess this "information" is in part coming from.

Rey and Kylo team up to face Palpatine.

Palpatine reveals Rey is his granddaughter (or is otherwise related to him by blood).

Kylo is knocked down a hole and presumed dead.

Rey picks up Kylo's lightsaber and dual wields lightsabers to defeat Palpatine in 1 vs 1 combat.

Right before the credits role, someone asks Rey her name, and she replies, "Rey Skywalker".

how the actual fuck can she be a skywalker if shes emperor palpatines granddaughter when emperor palpatine was not related to shmi skywalker or anakin for that matter?

Matt Smith plays one of Palpatine's younger clones, who appears next to original old Palpatine.

Palpatine uses force lightning to disable the entire rebel fleet. This destroys the Millennium Falcon and kills Leia, Lando, Chewie, 3PO and R2D2 who are inside (these characters dying is apparently in all cuts).

Rey and Kylo fight Palpatine.

Kylo still dies in the same way.

Kylo's death angers Rey and she channels the power of all Jedi to reflect Palpatine's lightning back into him to kill him.

I read a leak the other day that was probably fake but they claimed there was a scene where Palpatine starts taking out a bunch of ships with lightning and blows up the Millennium Falcon with R2, C3P0, Chewbacca, Lando, and Leia all on board.

If they actually pull that shit, I will never give another single cent to Disney.

Seems a bit too convenient to kill off a bunch of older characters by shoving them all into the Millenium Falcon and then it conveniently gets shot down.

Star Wars pretty much died off after the first movie. Clever idea, then the poor thing got beat to death with a boring stick, and has just been coasting on toy sales since.

The leak I heard was that Palpatine takes over Kylo Ren, who begs Rey to kill him. She does, but Lukes force ghost or whatever does a thing and brings him back and they all live happily ever after.

I know Disney is anxious to move on from this trilogy but... Im not ready to see this last film.

Its too soon after the trash fest that was last film.

Maybe it's better to shit it out, get it over with, and then shift focus over to TV shows for a while before trying to move back into films.

Whether it's true or false, the reason it's believable is because Disney's goal has fairly clearly been to kill off all the important characters from the original trilogy to "make way for the new characters".

This scene is supposedly what caused the most outrage in the test screenings, but all these characters dying at the same time is apparently in every cut regardless of reshoots.

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR LEAKS THAT ARE PROBABLY RIGHT

One year after THE LAST JEDI.
The First Order has conquered most of the galaxy.
Kylo Ren is still torn between the dark side and the light and still harbors feelings for Rey.
Hux has been replaced by Allegiant General Pryde (Richard E. Grant) and has been leaking information to the Resistance in hopes that they kill Kylo and allow him to retake control.
The Knights of Ren return from an expedition to the Unknown Regions to inform Kylo about a secret arsenal of superweapons built by Palpatine.
Kylo and the Knights of Ren begin searching for the Wayfinder, a device required to locate the arsenal.
The Resistance learns about this and deploys Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewbacca, BB-8, C-3P0 and R2-D2 to retrieve the Wayfinder first. Rose is now a high-ranking Resistance commander answering directly to Leia and stays behind to coordinate them from the base.
The Wayfinders coordinates are in C-3P0s old memory unit in an abandoned Imperial blockade in a jungle world, where the heroes befriend the warrior Jannah (Naomie Ackie) and her people.
After retrieving it, the heroes to a decommissioned droid factory in a snow world to unlock it, where they are ambushed by the First Order and rescued by bounty hunter Zorii Bliss (Keri Russell) and her droid D-0.
During the battle, the memory unit of a combat droid is uploaded into C-3P0, causing him to develop an aggressive personality and take Chewies bowcaster for himself.
Meanwhile, Kylo meets an oracle who directs him to the Wayfinders location in a desert world. Rey and her friends also learn about it from C-3P0s memories.

Rey and Kylo meet and fight in the desert world, while the Knights of Ren battle Finn, Poe, Chewie and the droids.
Rey and Kylo still share a Force bond, which causes them to experience Force flashes of past events as they fight.
Kylo and the Knights of Ren retrieve the Wayfinder and return to the ruins of the Death Star in the jungle world to unlock the arsenals location.
The Resistance follows him, but are ambushed by the First Order and nearly defeated before a local alien, Klaud, helps them escape.
Finn recruits Jannah and her people as reinforcements to battle the First Order, while Rey confronts Kylo.
Rey and Kylo learn that the Wayfinder actually contains Palpatines spirit. The Knights of Ren are loyal to him and manipulated Kylo into freeing him.
Palpatine possesses one of the knights (Matt Smith) and announces his plan to seize control of the First Order and use the arsenal to subjugate the galaxy. He also reveals that he was behind Snoke.
Luke Skywalker and Han Solo appear as Force ghosts and encourage Kylo to accept the light. Kylo then join forces with Rey to stop Palpatine.
Rey and Kylo defeat Palpatine, but he then possesses Kylo. He urges Rey to kill him, and she reluctantly does. Palpatine is unable to possess Rey and is destroyed for the last time.
The First Order is defeated and Palpatines arsenal is destroyed.
Rey mourns Kylo and Luke's force ghost appears, he ressurects him.
The film is rumoured to end with a sunset.
So about Lando, he doesn't do much, he's just there with the heroes. Knights of Ren also have lots of scene where they are just there.
The final battle will take place on the jungle planet, the Sith Fleet will be there to fight.
The death star remains will make the final battle epic and Rey and Kylo will use force flash fights against Palpatine.

Nobody really dies in the whole freaking thing, except Leah I guess. Initially Chewie is captured and they think he is on a transport that blows up, but nope he was on another one and they rescue him later. Then later on C3p0 has to basically wipe his memory so they can access info he has stored, but R2 has a backup they use later (not that recent though).

Kylo does fall down a whole, and you don't see him again, but he isn't dead...just....not there.

Rei fights of Pally along with Leah and Luke (who are force ghosts).

Pally doesn't destroy the whole fleet, or even incapacitate it, just a few of the ships (he could have eventually destroyed them all though).

They disable the flag ship which causes the rest of them to be unable to navigate for some stupid reason.

Everyone lives happily ever after pretty much and celebrates (at least there are no dancing ewoks even though they were on/at endor).

Oh and....supposedly....Han's force ghost comes back to talk to Kylo lol...which makes no sense at all because Leih coudn't create a force ghost earlier in the movie..and she was trained a bit as a jedi and was force sensitive. Han should not have any access to the force or be able to become a force ghost..but whatever.

I really wish they had made Solo 2 instead of this movie. I wouldn't have read the script to that.
