This happens all the time, especially during the holidays and some delivery drivers just don't give a damn to hide it so no nobody can steal it..but thieves are smarter nowadays as they FOLLOW them around and wait to see if they just dropped it off if no one is home so then they can steal it... If they where acting like they belonged their and I didnt know the household well enough to know if they did or not I probably wouldnt even pay it any mind. If it was clear to me what they where doing id probably yell at them as I was approaching in hopes theyd drop it and run. If not id inform the people living there somehow and report it to the cops.
