He went to prison for murdering unarmed Afghan civilians and now he can't find a job even the lowest of low type of jobs as he tweeted he was struggling to find employment despite the fact he got a "full pardon" by the president last month In the now deleted tweet, he wrote that his dishonourable discharge from the military makes it hard to find a job even at Walmart or Target and said Trump told him his record would be "expunged" as he won't have a history of ever going to prison on his record He said "His staff in the WH must have disagreed. This will be an uphill battle" The tweet included an email from Target that informed him that his application was rejected for a job in the human resources department and it wasn't able to provide specific reasoning Last year, Target said it was revising its hiring practices by removing questions about criminal history from job applications and that it will only be dealt with at the final stages of the hiring process. People like to act like the punishment / "revenge" portion of prison is the least important aspect, or something to be slightly ashamed of as a society. But it is in fact very important. The reason people are generally not "taking justice into their own hands" is because they can trust in the legal system to adequately punish wrongdoers, and thus avoid an endless cycle of personal revenge. When you take that away, and total monsters get to walk free with little or no actual punishment.... People rightfully get angry and realize it's up to them to "set things right."
