I think the real question is "Could a balloon work in earth's atmosphere using only a vacuum in the balloon to cause it to rise and float." It would be working on the principle that causes stuff to float in water, which is that an object in water floats if its weight is displaced. So if you could make a balloon filled with nothing but a vacuum, it would have to displace its weight in air.

Way back, I used to work at a Blockbuster Video. One time, a woman came in, slammed a VHS on the counter, proceeded to scream at me for 2-3 minutes about how it wasnt rewound when she got home, and ended it by telling me she wished Id get hit by a truck when I left work that night and die.

I was 19.

Obama left office with a plan for dealing with an epidemic/pandemic. This was expanded from Mr. Bush's plan. Mr. Trump's people did a training exercise on the plan when they came in, but are now no longer are working for Mr. Trump by the time this pandemic showed up. Mr. Trump also cut funding for the CDC and other agency's that were meant to deal with this stuff. Mr. Trump never added to the emergency supplies as the plan called for, but instead decided a pandemic could never happen here.

If your mask is not covering your nose and mouth, then your NOT wearing a mask. You nose is probably the worst thing you can leave uncovered. I'd rather you only covered your nose and then just kept your mouth shut. If you did find you need to speak then you should cover both.

As for me, I'm struggling to remember if I've seen that account here. That's a very reasonable karma for your start date, but a tiny as hell AMP.

I could be making a million a year and it'd still bother me to see a large chunk of my money being taken to pay for people who choose not to work and instead live off the fruits of my labor.

If your making a million a year, how much money is left for your company to hire people at a living wage? To make matters worse your probably sending all the work to other countries for the cheap wages, depriving people here from even having the opportunity to be hired.

I just got a new purple mattress. Its amazing.

But my girl wants to throw out the old mattress. Shes mad Im not letting her. Her dad is coming in the Fall to visit and Im not buying a new mattress again in a couple of months. Thats silly.

Shes always been quick to throw stuff out. This same scene keeps playing out where I look for something... cant find it... I ask her where is it... and she says she doesnt know with big wide eyes that have the words, Oh shit written all over them.

Black Lives certainly do matter as much as any other race. It is just sad that when any one suggests making the cause bigger then it is, to bring others that also have the same challenges, it is considered racist by the movement. It seems like it can't even be talked about or it they will get torn down for their good intentions.
It reminds me of how Mr. Trump acts. It you don't completely agree that asshole, your the enemy and will get torn down by him and his sick supporters. The last thing in the world any one should be like is Mr. Trump.

Something similar happens when a suspect is being stunned and told not to move only for the suspect to move after being released from a stun or being stunned again, when there is no way they can't not move after being stunned or from being stunned.

The first things that should be happening after someone is tasered is that they should be brought to a hospital to make sure their heart is beating normally. Those things can kill you hours later if the use of one has mess up the heart rhythms of the tasered person.

So far for me it sucks. Not my family, but the rest sucks.
First bad thing is I sent my son for Fish Fry's only for him to find them closed. While he is out not getting them my internet fails, only just coming back a few mins ago. So that interrupted My Simpsons marathon on Disney plus. While I'm waiting for the internet to come back I was putting my Father's day chocolate in the stand alone freezer, only to find the freezer had gotten unplugged. I'm gonna have to toss a lot of food.
So if your day is going better then this, then I'm happy your having a good Father's day and also hoping that it went so much better then mine.

It apparently really happened, and now I have an extra excuse not to eat at three places I haven't eaten at since last millennium. You may or may not consider this sort of thing going forward.

I tried to look up where the restaurants that person that owns them were, he owns the Muy Company, but found they had removed that info from Muy company web sites so that you could not figure out which restaurants were owned by that company.

Just remember to keep your fingers off the back touch area unless your playing something that uses that area. Some Playstation one games have a couple of buttons mapped back there, and it is annoying when you have something happen because you didn't know that and you were touching the areas.
