I would head straight to the boiler and remove burning coal from it as fast as possible to choke the steam engine out. I don't even care where I'm tossing the burning coals in the moment, the fires in the brush behind me are less likely to kill me than the combined weight of the hurtling, steam-driven train I'm stuck on.

The priority is to slow the mass I'm travelling on before it derails.

Snuffing the fuel source driving it by any means necessary is the best option.

That thought did cross my mind. I would think there would be a drain plug to drain the water from the engine or a way to let out all the steam as well.

Yeah, thats part of the rhetoric being spit by their government, that they had no way of knowing this could happen. They did. They didnt care... because of what happened... people with $5,000 a day power bills. They raised the kWh price from $50 to $9000. Thats why they didnt do shit.

How much of an increase is that? I'm thinking it is an 1800% increase, but I think my math is off.

It's not impossible, but given that TC isn't actually meeting any of them, nor giving them any information that could be used to track him down, he's unlikely to face such risks.

I wasn't worried about TC hiding in his home. I was more worried about the people, they are tricking, might turn on each other, thinking the other party was pulling a fast one on them. If such a thing happened and someone was horribly injured or killed, then people might start looking for this TC that caused it.
