I mean in recent history FAR more Asians were transported here against their will than other nationalities (sex trafficing etc), and if I remember right tons were brought over during the gold rush, used to build the railroads and then literally booted out of the country afterwards.

I think focusing on what needs to be fixed now is key. Other then a small minority of mostly very wealthy white americans most people have immigrated from other countries to here in the past 100 years or so. None of my extended family has lived here longer then 4 generations. Learn from history, but focus on the present and the future.

Yup. The English were subject to conquest invasion by several different European countries yet we don't blame the Germans, French and Norse for any failing. Unless an event effects you personally, it has nothing to do with you and your success in life.

You're forgetting how many black people came here willingly before slavery, during slavery, and after slavery including up to this day. And not to mention how many Asians and others who were trafficked here against their will. More importantly, slavery ended OVER A HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS AGO. If your argument is, "well, slavery!", keep in mind that countless immigrants -- many of whom were facing violence in their home nation -- arrived here with nothing since then and built a life for themselves.

The fact that somebody had a crappy childhood doesn't mean that they can't succeed in life, so why should the fact that their great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents had a crappy childhood matter? Slavery is a piss-poor excuse. Segregation is more valid, but even that was 70 years ago with opportunities that grew year after year as the remaining barriers broke down.

African immigrants still come here, often with very little, and end up on the top. African immigrants are one of the most successful groups of people in America. It's way more of a culture problem than a racer problem.

Are you using this to say black people aren't as capable?
What about those that immigrated on they're own and aren't descended from former slaves? Are they also not as capable?
Does this also apply to Australia? As I recal people didn't travel there under their own volition either.

That's an issue with the Belgian oligarchy and the UK government pushing blame on to the EU for things it could veto. It's an issue of autonomy that the government refused to use. We deal with Europe as equals, not oppressors.

....and this is how you shoot yourself in the foot.

Since anyone who has done any extensive research on the slave trade in Africa could tell you that that white Europeans weren't the first people who dabbled into the slave trade. In fact before the founding of America, it was Arabs and even Africans themselves that rallied up other Africans (usually from weaker villages) to sell off to various regions around the globe. I mean, no one is innocent for sure. But to think that it was only white's who forcefully took your ancestors to the Portuguese ships.... you're kind of losing yourself to the twitter propaganda.

I mean, don't get me wrong that there is a share of the blame for white people to take on; but that doesn't mean you haven't been sold out by your own people since the beginning as well.
