Well it was at a Community Center so there certainly could have been other stuff there that was appropriate for kids.

Since it was a community center I have to wonder why that center is spending money on art (or art insurance), rather then helping the community with it instead? It doesn't seem that expensive art belongs there.

a gallon is about 3.78541 Liters. (These numbers are fluid US values)
A quart is about 0.946353 Liters.
4x 0.946353 = 3.785412 Liters and a lot closer then TC's very poor rounding of numbers that should Not be getting rounded. I don't know where TC even got 1.05 liters to a quart but it is completely wrong.
These are values I got for a quart and none are even near 1.05 liters.
1 Quart [Fluid, US] = 0.946352946 Liter
1 Quart [Dry, US] = 1.10122095 Liter
1 Quart [UK] = 1.1365225 Liters

What you say is true, it is about respecting the country and the military. Sadly our current president sees not standing for the national anthem as directly disrespectful of him. Standing for the anthem has always been voluntary. The rules made for showing respect for the anthem and the treatment of our flag, were made to let people know how that should be done. They weren't meant to be a legal requirement, as some people seem to think they are.

I guess fake respect is better then no respect for a President that firmly believes it is all about him, when someone decides to kneel to protest something. Respect because of some possible punishment isn't in any way respect. It is just someone trying to avoid problems. They are only respecting the possible punishment and not the person demanding it.

People have been known to thump back on the floor. I suggest using a block of wood on the floor and then a hammer on the block of wood to avoid damage to the actual floor. Only do that when she starts. You need to let her know that little noise from you can be so much worse when she complains about it. She will probably do more damage to her ceiling then you'll do to the floor.
I once did the banging on the floor when the down stairs person played music very loudly at a bad time of day. I never heard them play their music as loudly again. My guess is the person below them complained as well.

Did you know there were also mushrooms that have no drug qualities what-so-ever that people can buy in stores just to eat as food? As I recall I saw some food mushroom kits in the garden department of Home Depot last year.
What is with all these people not trying to use mushrooms to not go on trips and get high? Are they nuts? (or are you for assuming too much and proving the assuming saying as true?)

I'm fairly sure the actor that voiced Alf died. I to lazy to bother to look it up though.

I have only followed through with 2 in the last 13 years. The first one and the most recent. Both times I was released via phone call without ever having to appear.

Every year or two between I always got out. For the first part it was financial difficulties. I wasnt making a lot of money and couldnt afford to go.

When I could afford it, kind of, I still used the same response. They finally called me to grill me about it, and I told them my company only pays for sitting on a jury. If I have to appear and am not selected, they do not pay.

They didnt believe me. I had to get HR to send a letter head copy of our Jury Duty reimbursement policy.

I said the same thing the next year. They called. I told them about the previous year and that nothings different.

They then stopped sending requests for 6 years.

I think they realized I switched companies and tried me again.

Jury duty where I am is only every 6 years. I'm sure that is different in other areas of the country though.

I go if they need me to. The last time I was due to serve we had a large blizzard so everyone got out of it.

Since abortion exist, legal or illegal, it means the unborn do not have souls. After all I would never put one in an unborn person, that might not get to be born, so God being much smarter and wiser then any human, would not put one in as well.
I know that is crap logic, but some of the arguments for and against abortion are crap too.
