In school I never really felt pressure to work even when I had to finish something by a deadline tbh. I either finished the assignment (usually last minute) or just blew it off because i'd rather be doing something else.

As an adult, I've never really had the sorts of jobs that gave you deadlines. Mostly driving jobs and a handful of other things like working in a factory or at a gas station.

Its basically just a boycott for a famous person instead of a company. People can do whatever they want with their time and money. I don't actively participate in boycotting or canceling, but I've got no problem with people who do.

TopicDidn't friends and big bang theory get higher ratings than seinfeld?
PMarth2002
12/30/19 8:47:52 AM

I looked it up.

Friends has higher ratings in the early seasons than seinfeld did, but lower average ratings than seinfeld in the later seasons. Big bang theory is in distant third place.

Seinfeld got around 10-20 million in its early seasons, which jumped up to around 30 million in its later seasons and had 76 million for its finale.
Friend started around 20-30 million, and generally stayed in the 20-30 million range, ocassionally dipping into the teens and hitting 58 million for its finale.
Big bang theory started around 10 million and rarely ever broke 20 million (and only just barely hitting it when it did). Its finale only hit 18 million.

I prefer friends to seinfeld, but loved both. Big bang theory is okay, never got into it.

You wear them on your face all day, why would you want a cheapo set unless youre actually so poor you cant afford good ones?

And yeah more expensive ones are better. Better frames, lighter, fit better, more comfy, more premium build quality and materials, thinner lenses with the same strength, etc

You can get light, comfortable frames for significantly cheaper than $600. I got mine at walmart and the only difference I feel between wearing them and not wearing them is how well I can see. I have absolutely no idea why I would care how thick or thin the lenses are. The frames are a different matter, but there are decent looking cheap frames available.

...This is a thing that happens frequently?? It's definitely not something I've heard of happening ever. It sounds like something out of an action movie.

So what, the cop gets in front of the car the suspect just got into so it isn't moving very fast, or are they jumping in front of a car going full speed to get them to slam on their breaks?

I don't have a problem with the former, but the latter seems suicidal.
